I attended this church for a couple of years and became very involved. The more involved I became, the more I realized that everything was micro managed by Stephanie (who is the pastors sister in law). No new groups could exist without it being her idea and groups that were important to many people were shut down by her with no explanation. The church focuses largely on helping addicts because the pastor is a recovering addict, but if you have any other major life change like divorce or job loss then they shy away. The pastor is not accessible at all like most churches. In the 3 years I attended, he was never on the floor, greeting people or offering hugs. I would say there are two groups that would benefit from this church: the people who can fit into the clique and addicts who will share their story with the church and help make them look like they are making a difference.

I'm 55 years old, pretty average by any standard. I grew up a staunch Southern Baptist but I never could understand the "standard" teachings - meaning - Why would God be standing around the corner waiting to smite me for having an unclean thought? If you are tired of fear based religion - pomp and circumstance - you should give this church a try. If you are a person who wants and believes in a personal relationship with God then this church will help you to understand how. The sermons at His Hands Church are Christian and The Holy Bible will never seem impersonal again. Think of it like going home. That's what I experienced and I've been going there for a little over a year. If you are anything like me it would be advised that you bring a tissue or two. You'll find yourself moved to tears often. So be prepared..

I've been several time. Environmet was very warm and very different from a normal church building. The miusic is unapoligetic and I was blown away by how "REAL" it was. On my row in the service was what looked like a Banker in casual clothes on one side a what seemed to be a Biker on the other. Both as nice and genuine as could be. Steve was ultra practicle and biblically insightful. Grace lives at His Hands. Jesus would go to this church if He lived in NW ATL.

My husband and I stumbled across this church and we felt right at home! The service is wonderful, the sermon is filled with real life examples & the classes and prayer team are great. It's a great fit for people who don't like the politics and traditions of your average church, who just want to place to worship God and be encouraged in their faith.

We went for a visit last Sunday as we are looking for a church a little closer to home. It's kind of hard to rate a church with the quality, service, value stars above, but we felt like the service, church and music were a little thin. We're looking for a Bible believing church, one that preaches from the Word, and one that doesn't necessarily cater to what the world wants to bring people in. I'm not saying that this church is only a feel good kind of place, because we only went one time, but we looked around for statements of beliefs (both in print and online) and couldn't find any. We didn't see anyone bringing their Bibles to church. The kids program for my son was fantastic though - he has talked all week about Paul and Silas and that they were in jail for talking about God - the teachers obviously made a connection. Overall I just don't think the place is for us, but could be for others.

This is my church, so I am a little biased here - hence the five stars - but this is a come as you are kind of a place. It might have rock music - but it has no shortage of the Holy Spirit - God is working in this place! I was baptised here in May of 2007 and have been walking with the lord ever since! It's great to see all ages and types of people seeking Jesus! Looking for acceptance? You will find out what Jesus is really like by coming to His Hands.

It is a little too hardcore rock for our tastes but the children's program is phenomenal! If every church had a children's program that was as good at teaching as it was at staying organized, and allowing the kids to have fun-no children would ever dread church. Over the top-the best kid's program my children have ever attended.
