Charged extra $188 after prepaying for room online, 2/08/2010

Beware of staying here if you book & prepay ahead of time. We were charged $188 after the room had been paid for. Upon trying to contact the hotel directly they phone just rang continuously on... several occasions and no one ever picked up. I then contacted Holiday Inn guest relations (not for the specific hotel but the generic online customer care), who first advised that I would be contacted by the above hotel directly within 48 hours. They never contacted me. Then after 2 weeks of emailing back and forth with guest relations, they advised that they could not resolve it and to contact my credit card company. Meanwhile, no one can tell me what the $188 was charged for, we stayed there only 2 nights and actually paid for 3 because we thought we would be there longer. So, this $188 dollars is on top of them getting the money from an extra night already. If you have to stay somewhere in the area I recommend ANYWHERE but the Holiday Inn because if you are overcharged you will never see that money again
