BED BUGS! I woke up and found a bed bug in my bed. The hotel's maintenance people came to my room and confirmed that I indeed had bed bugs in my bed. I developed very painful welts that lasted for a week. The hotel pretty much washed their hands of it. Their terrible customer service is baffling. As I was leaving the hotel I saw people checking in and I wanted to warn them, because like I had the night before, they were trusting they would be staying in a safe clean room. I did not warn people at the time as I hoped the hotel would do the right thing. I soon learned differently, so I am letting people know now. Should you have to stay here be sure to pull the sheets and inspect your bed to make sure they have their problem under control.
