I contracted Home Delivery Service to deliver a piece of furniture on June 26, 2010. Three weeks later they showed up having left part of the item at the store, part of the item in their warehouse and without any hardware to put it together yet they demanded that I pay them $566. Six weeks later they scheduled another delivery but didn't show up. They gave me no number to call, no one contacted me. They just didn't show up. They did this again on 8/28 and 9/4 wasting my entire day each time. Finally on 9/11 they delivered the rest of my item. It took them 11 weeks to deliver it. I complained and they offered a refund of $113 but did not send it. I started calling asking for the refund. They gave many excuses such as the check was in the mail or it was sent to the wrong address or they didn't have the money. I had to call them every few days for 7 months before they finally sent me the refund. A simple furniture delivery turned into a 10 month nightmare with this company.
