Home Energy Insulation

Home Energy was the most informative of the 4 companies I had bid for attic and crawl space insulation. Eric called back to make sure I had all my questions answered and was very patient with more questions that I had. They were not the least expensive, about 40% more than another bid, but provided higher R value,duct sealing, outlet insulation gaskets, and foam sealing around holes in attic from can lights, etc which the others did not provide. In addition, they inspect insulation for settling or other problems at 1, 5 and 10 years. Crew arrived at 7:30 and rang doorbell exactly at 8 appointment time. Phil was here almost the entire time and helped me with GA Power rebate form in addition to wrapping water heater and answering other questions. Everything was clean when they left. There was a problem with amount of bill from what estimate seemed to indicate and Phil very willingly adjusted the total due to the miscommunication. These are just really nice people. It's been too warm this month to know if I'll see a difference in the utility bills, but I feel certain that going from R8 to R49 will make a huge impact this summer.

The appointment for an estimate was quickly scheduled and they happily worked around my schedule. Phil arrived on time and thoroughly inspected my attic. He answered all of my questions and left me with a detailed presentation package and estimate. I called references and received great reviews. I got four estimates and not only was Home Energy the most competitive, it was the only one that included sealing ducts in the attic and insulating top plates. The insulation installers arrived early, finished quickly and cleaned up debris before they left. Phil and his team were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Home Energy.

Home Energy installed insulation just before time ran out for the federal tax credit. Installed our insulation Saturday 12/31 on a Saturday no less. We are thankful for the quick turn around and the awesome job. B Gardell Norcross GA

Phil and his team were wonderful. They came in and explained everything as they went, answering all of my questions. They were neat, clean, efficient, and done in under 3 hours. My home is now comfortable for the first time ever, especially the bonus room which is usually an ice box this time of year. I am SO happy!!!!

The thing that I liked most about these guys, aside from the great price and the quality work, was the throroughness in making sure I understood the problem at hand and how they were going to fix it. I called for a simple attic insulation job, but on top of that they insulated my water heater, attic door, duct work and outlets. All of this with just the price of the insulation, and cheaper than anyone else. They came and were gone in less than two hours, so it didn’t disrupt my day and their only concern was that I was happy with the work. Thank you Home Energy!
