After we had John do some smaller projects, we contracted him to completely renovate our entire kitchen, gutting it down to the studs and vaulting the ceiling. We were pleased with final result beyond all expectation! John made such a major project almost easy, providing great suggestions on easy upgrades that really added to the value. Plus, he's great to work with. Sometimes, having him at our home felt more social than as a contractor. 5 stars- more if I could!

I had to have some very last-minute repairs done prior to the sale of a home, and instead of calls to separate contractors for HVAC, plumbing, and drywall work, I was referred to Home Medic. They fit me in on short notice, and completed all of the work in a very professional, and efficient manor. On top of that, their pricing is very reasonable! I will definitely be using Home Medic again.

John worked on our small project that we didn’t think larger contractors would want.

We needed a few repairs done to our in-law suite. We had a leak in the shower, needed a bathroom light and exhaust fan installed, and wanted to remove a sliding door and replace it with a window. We also had to replace an outside door that had water damage.

John’s proposal was reasonable and he was available to do this work within a week. He required only a $500 deposit to start with the balance due upon completion and our satisfaction of his work.

John provided structural and functional recommendations and cost-saving measures. By identifying an unsealed shower drain, he saved us from ripping out the entire shower. John did an excellent job on our window replacement. He built-out both an exterior and interior wall that blended seamlessly into our house.

While he was performing the work, we added little task (change shower heads in two bathrooms, replace faucet bathroom and vanity light). As we do not have plumbing skills, this was welcomed. I would recommend that if you add items, you get an updated proposal before the work is performed as these tasks added up.

We would definitely contact John again for our next construction project.

We have used Home Medic several times over the past 12 or 14 years. John does quality work and is very courteous and dependable. He takes great pride in his work and cares about his customers. We would recommend Home Medic for all your home repairs and renovations.

We hired John/Home Medic to renovate a bathroom and to do some additional work in our condo. Here are some of the positives we noticed during our interactions with John:

1) He did a high-quality work in a fast and efficient manner.
2) He was very knowledgeable with regard to all renovation-related issues and offered a great advice.
3) He communicated promptly (via phone and email) when we had questions or wanted to clarify some issues and kept us updated of the project's progress.
4) He was genuinely concerned about the quality of his work and his professional reputation, which is not a common trait among the contractors.
5) His estimate was reasonable and did not exceed the bids submitted by the other contractors. (Obviously, it is always advisable to obtain at least 2-3 bids.)

We were extremely satisfied with the way John handled our project and, if the need arises, we will definitely invite him to bid on future projects.
