The inspector did a very good job, she was thorough and communicative throughout the 2 1/2 hour process so I have no complaints, but I think they were a bit more expensive than some of the other services seem to be. My agent recommended them saying it would be the best money I ever spent, and perhaps it was.

We had a pretty good experience with Home Probe when Jamie came out and inspected our home. He worked with us to make sure everything that was wrong with the house was detailed in the report. But it was a full month after the inspection that the company really wowed us. We found a pair of outlets weren't working when we moved in and supposed that this had been missed during the inspection. We emailed Home Probe to ask for some sort of refund to offset the cost of an electrician. They responded immediately; both Jamie the home inspector and Jeff, one of the owners, got in touch. In fact, Jeff offered to come out the next day. He arrived as scheduled, figured out what the problem was and fixed it, all free of charge. These guys have excellent reviews for a reason.

This was the first home inspection I encountered, and the inspector, Marla McKinney truly fix the bill. She was very knowledgeable about every aspect of what a home inspection should be. All of my questions were answered fully, and everything I needed to know pertaining to the condition and needs of my new home were answered. I would highly recommend her and her company to anyone needing a home inspection.

Marla McKinney did our very first home inspection and she was great! Since this was our first one we had ever done, she really walked through everything and was very helpful in explaining the process. We will defiantly use Home Probe Inc. again in the future!

We searched around and interviewed several home inspector agencies in the Atlanta-area. None of the ones we spoke to carried errors/omissions insurance, except Home-Probe. Friends (who happen to be real estate attorneys) all recommended us to find inspectors that are ASHI certified. Marla was patient and thorough and her report was informative. If we need another home inspection, we will definitely call on her.
