HomeSafe Inspection (Infrared)

Michael Berger was my inspector. I highly recommend him to inspect your home for purchase or repair. As a matter of fact, I gave Michael's number to a friend who had a leak from the bathroom that two plumbers could not find. This was after showing the Infrared pictures showing issues behind the drywall.

Ray from HomeSafe inspected the home I'm considering purchasing. I take care of most of the maintenance on my current home so I wanted to tag along during the inspection. I wanted to see the problems first hand. Ray did a thorough inspection and answered all of my questions. He was friendly, polite and considerate during the entire process.

The home has a finished basement. I was concerned about moisture behind the walls so I wanted a company that used infrared imaging. I would want an infrared scan even if I didn't have a basement.

I was very pleased with the inspection report. The detailed photographs will be very helpful when repairs are done. I have recommended HomeSafe to friends and I will definitely use them the next time I need this type of service.

Very pleased with Al from Homesafe Inspection. Meticulous attention to detail. Identified every little issue including light switched configured reverse and loose knobs! Patient and well-informed, Al reviewed every single finding in his report (close to 60) with us and made us feel assured about what we were getting. We also asked questions based on what our concerns were, and he was able to answer them satisfactorily. Great working with Al and Homesafe Inspection team! Highly Recommended!!

Ray did an outstanding job when inspecting the property I WAS going purchase. He was very thorough; a true professional. Even with the property being newly constructed, I was prepared for minimal defects to be noted. I was not expecting what Ray found…the infrared device detected water damage from the upstairs bathroom. The leak was such that moisture was noted from the ceiling to the adjacent wall to the floor. The water had actually made a puddle on the carpet. What appeared to the naked eye as a painting mishap on the ceiling was where the water had saturated the ceiling. The moisture meter lit up at the highest level and droplets of water began to drip from the ceiling. I’m glad we stayed during the entire inspection and were able to ask pertinent questions and receive detailed answers when the problem was identified. Also, Bob was extremely helpful when I called with additional questions after I received the report via email (the very next morning, my appointment was at 3 pm, I had the report a little after 9 am). Needless to say, and sadly, we decided not to close on the house. I give HomeSafe a million thanks for saving me thousands of dollars! I highly recommend and will definitely use again when I re-start my house hunt.

Inspection date:6/18/11. Al provided a very thorough inspection of the property. The infared technology was neat, but not in color as some advertisements show. The inspection report was very professional and was delivered the following morning. As a buyer, you never know who offers the best service. We found that Al was very knowledgeable and answered questions asked, making it money well spent.
