Don't take a chance with them, 9/03/2010

Nice place but the female owner of the husband and wife team is psycho. I went there a month in advance to check the place out. It was nice, the staff was nice, the place was clean and offered many... extra items in the $25 per day cost. So I thought I was set. Then the day of drop off came. As I opened the door to enter, and my dog stuck her nose through the door, the door was push closed with laughing in the background. They said through the door we are trying to get a big dog up and don't want my dog to get hurt. So after about 3 minutes they let me in. I asked if I could call my dog out of the doggy door, and the woman (owner) said we usually don't let people out there. And we were going to keep her in the back kennel. The back kennel I was told at my previous visits was for big dogs and they keep them separated for safety. I said ok and then said I bought a bed with a removable cover as they requested. And she told me they would never ask that, that is not a rule. Many other inconsistencies were to follow. Then she went in to I have had an attitude since I got here, and that I should know they have the right to reserve service. Now minutes away from leaving on vacation I have to find another kennel. I went to another kennel close by and they told me I was not the first person that has come to them after getting in to it with the female owner. Just do not use them if you do not want to kiss the owners a** the way she insist when she has you over a barrel.
