Funny thing, the owner of Hoppy's Car Wash responds online but still doesn't have the decency to return 3 calls I have left for him on this matter. First, it's NOT impossible when machinery is involved and there could have been any number of things that occurred to cause the damage to my car. The damage to my car coincided perfectly with the motion of your machines and in the direction the car travels through the wash; almost impossible for it to have occurred any other way really. Secondly, you don't know the police officer who arrived on the scene and he said nothing remotely similar to what you are claiming - this is a a complete fabrication. Third, there was absolutely NO RUST WHATSOEVER where the damaged occurred - in fact the paint was still peeled up where the damage occurred indicating VERY, VERY recent damage, as in minutes earlier and yes, I have the photos taken of the damage immediately coming out of your car wash to support this and there is no rust anywhere - this is a complete fabrication on your part and now telling of your character. You should be ashamed of yourself. Finally, I wouldn't trust meeting you in person for fear of my safety given your demonstrated dishonesty here. All I need from you is a call back to provide me with your insurance carrier and policy. This is a legitimate claim and you should behave honorably instead of making false allegations like you have done. If I don't hear from you by 5pm today, I will be filing a judicial claim.

I'm sorry you feel my wash damaged your car, but in all fairness, that's impossible. Just like the Marietta Police officer (that has washed his personal car at Hoppy's for 16 years) said... This damage is too severe to have happened at a car wash. Certainly the rust at the point of damage tells me this damage happened quite some time ago. If a car wash damages a car it will damage cars before yours and after yours. It will not pick yours out solely. Please meet me at Hoppy's at your earliest convenience as I'd love to personally demonstrate for you that our "state of the art" equipment is 100% safe. Thanks.
Was having my car washed there the other day and noticed the equipment. The first set of cloth is torn and ripped. There is mold on the other cloths that are in the tunnel. So I was asking myself as my car went through the dirty and molded brushes how is this cleaning my car properly.I was going to mention this to the manager but he was unavailable.I believe it is time for me to find a car wash that has clean equipment to wash cars.

I've been going to Hoppy's for years only because there is no other full service car wash in the area. Hoppy's pays very little attention to detail. The exterior cleaning is sufficient and I don't have too many complaints about that. But then again a machine does most of that. Their interior cleaning is terrible. I have numerous examples of how poorly they address the inside of your car. Some of them are really pathetic excuses for interior cleaning. But Kudzu is limiting me to 250 words. The last time this happened I pre-tipped the exterior guy $8 on a $20 wash because 1) I knew how terrible they are at cleaning interiors, and 2) I had a soda bottle spray up in the area of the passenger seat and wanted it cleaned. Knowing they wouldn't do this unless motivated I offered the early tip. Needless to say they cleaned less than 20% of the mess. And they thought it looked great! I was speechless. After pointing this out to him and watching his feeble attempt to re-clean it, I finally took his rag and began doing it myself. This guy stood there and watched. And they don't use any type of Armor All protectant on the interior of a car. Ever. Even if you pay for the $27 "Rain-X Complete" service. Go to Hoppy's if you can't get to another car wash place and as long as you are only concerned about the exterior of your car getting clean.

read the negative reviews and i do not agree with any of them. how can a car wash make rips in someones interior let alone 12 of them. and as for the broken seat it must have been pretty rigged up before that person came to the wash. been going there for a couple of years and i have not had any damage or complaints.i have worked in the car wash business before and you are more likely to scratch your car than a person who does this day in and day out.i guess you can't please everyone

While the actual car wash work is acceptable, though not great, be very careful of your car here. On TWO occasions they have broken the mechanism that moves my car seat because someone shoved the car seat back too hard. This latest time, it cost my insurance company $1000 to fix it! If you do go to this place, move your car seat yourself! That goes for your antenna also. They broke the antenna on a car I used to own while trying to retract it.

My brother borrowed my car a few days ago to drive my grandparents to the hospital. As a token of good will, he had my car washed and vacuumed at Hoppy's. How nice, I thought. The car looked clean, shiny tires, and dirt-free carpet. Later that day, after a quick stroll around Target, I noticed two long scratches in the tint of my driver side rear window. I just had my windows tinted earlier this summer, and the damage was certainly not there before. So I call Hoppy's. The initial representative told me to bring the car in, but I wished to speak to the manager. You would not believe how unprofessional this individual was. Not only did he deny that they damaged my window, he made the ridiculous claim that it was IMPOSSIBLE that they could damage my window, in any circumstance. Apparently, their towels are immune to dirt and debris, and their employees are incapable of human error. Perhaps they are carwash fem-bots serving the nefarious Dr. Evil Manager. Where is the logic here? I lost the connection before I got too heated (thanks, AT&T), so I decided to warn the good people of the internet. Wash your car yourself, or take it to a trusted place. Hoppy's need not apply.

I have been a customer of Hoppy's for a long time but recently had a horrible experience with the owner. I took my vehicle to be washed and noticed that I had 12 cuts in my leather on the door panel. After getting an estimate for $350 to have my door panel replaced the owner, Jay, told me that all he would do is give me a credit for that amount in car washes. I want my car fixed. I really hoped as a business owner myself that the owner would do the right thing, however I was extremely disappointed. I will no longer be using their service for car wash or oil change. I would not want to risk anything else happening to my vehicle that I would be responsible for since mangement does not seem to care about doing the right thing for the customer!

This is a very good full-service car wash near the square in Marietta. I always get The Works, where they vacuum and clean the interior after it goes through the tunnel, and dry the exterior. On the rare occassion that I thought they missed something, they are more than happy to make it right. Also, the employees are very friendly and attentive, which is always nice. I highly recommend!
