The Hotel Vendome is not your typical hotel. It is more like a fusion between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. There is a single entrance at the front, which leads you to a parlor. Each of the rooms is off the main hall. The rooms have different styles, but all have a bed, chair and a TV. They are relatively small by today's standards. The effect of this is that the parlor area, not the room is the focal point of the hotel. Both levels also have a porch out front and this enhances the community atmosphere. It is a nice change from the norm. It also helps that it is haunted.
