Puron, unlike many Haloalkane refrigerants, does not contribute to ozone depletion. We highly recommend & sell EnergyStar-rated equipment. We recycle all metal materials - steel, aluminum, and copper. Our technicians are EPA certified and trained in the proper handling and disposal of R-22 (Freon). All R-22 (Freon) is recovered and not released into the atmosphere.
Had my A/C replaced last August ... Quick service and power bills dropped. The unit stopped cooling May, 2016 ... Technician came out promptly and troubleshot the system. Discovered freon leak on the... evaporator coil, recharged the system to get us through the weekend, and replaced the evaporator the following week ... apparently a manufacturing defect. This was a warranty job completed promptly and with no discussion. This is the type of service I am used to from my previous A/C company that I had in Miami for about 25 years. It is difficult when relocating to find reliable folks you can trust to handle all of the issues life throws at you. Houser has been servicing my heating and air systems for 7 years now. They are always dependable, caring, and committed to solving the problems. They have replaced my furnace, fixed my air conditioner and today fixed a supplemental wall heater. There is never pressure to buy new appliances and they are very good at fixing the old. This is a team of GOOD GUYS!

I am glad that I looked up Kudzu for a referral to get my central heater get repaired. Hearing many horror stories in past, I was apprehensivible when I called a couple of heating repair people. I am glad I did called Houser whose Kudzu rating was highest. The owner, Gary, showed up on time and the service was great. Price seems very reasonable after Gary explained to me how easy the job can be done on my own and save money. Knowing my mechanical attitude, I asked him to finish the job. It was a fast and in no time my heater was working again. Now I know where I need to call for any AC and heating problems in future.

I was very satisfied with the service I received from this company. When my A/C went out in the summer, it was repaired the same day that I called. I have just purchased a maintenance agreement and feel confident that the furnace will now be ready for the fall and winter weather. I would highly recommend Houser Heating and Air.

We have been customers of Houser HVAC since July 1990. Prior to moving into our home at that time Gary Houser identified we needed a bigger blower on our AC and required the builder to install one. Since then Houser HVAC has done all of our maintenance and the installation of new heat pumps and furnaces when necessary. I trust Gary completely and would not use or recommend anyone else.

When temperatures were scorching this summer, my air conditioning stopped working. Houser responded quickly to my need for help (w/in 24 hours). I was impressed by Jasonís knowledge and his taking the time to ask questions about the system and the problem I was experiencing. He diagnosed the problem and immediately worked on the system. He had found an obvious problem quickly. Cold air could be felt coming through the vents, but he determined that it wasnít quite what it should be. Through asking me questions and continued diagnostics he found that I had shut off some vents and had an extra filter on the air return which kept the cooling system from working efficiently. With a split level home, over the years...I thought it just couldnít be cooled properly --- Thanks to Houser, my A/C is working great and the house is cool. Thank you Jason and Houser!!

We had Houser Heating and Air install our compressor back in 2008 and they did a great job then. Recently we had a problem with the evaporator coil inside freezing and then water leaking onto the floor. I called Houser again of course and made an appointment. Jason came out and worked on the problem three different times- he was always organized, professional, and had top-notch communication with us about what was going on. I also spoke with Wayne on the phone several times and he was very helpful and friendly as well. We are thrilled to have our air conditioner working again properly (thanks Jason!) and would gladly recommend this company for your heating or ac needs.

Jason was very nice and worked quickly to fix the problem. The only problem we had is the company was so busy with service calls we had to wait for 29 hours for our appointment in 99 degree weather. Once Jason got here, within an hour and a half the problems were solved and fixed.

29 hours... I would be inclined to count the hours to get an urgent service as well! You are important to us and we work diligently to meet or exceed your expectations. We originally hired Houser to come out and assess the efficiency of our A/C unit in preparation for the summer months ahead. We signed up for the annual prevention plan (check-up of both heating and air systems prior to summer and winter seasons), and their technician came out and performed a thorough inspection. He was straightforward about his findings, knowledgeable about parts and operation, and offered sincere advice on level of priority for items. The price was very reasonable and in line with what Coolray and Estes quoted as well. But what set Houser apart, was their response time, honesty and knowledge. Since the first inspection, we recently had an issue with the electrical breaker that powered the a/c unit. The a/c unit would not come on at all, and when we called Houser at 6:30 pm on a Friday evening and left a voicemail, they promptly returned our call within an hour... worked us in to their schedule, and sent a technician out the very next morning! Since we are members of the annual plan, the diagnostic fee was waived and we only had to pay for the minor part. Very happy with Houser and their overall professionalism!

I have used Houser for years. We have an older AC unit for our downstairs that had stopped cooling. Jason came over quickly at the time he had promised and refilled my freon, saving me and my family from 110 degree Georgia heat! I really liked that he was honest with me about the condition of my AC unit and how much longer it would last, but did not pressure me to buy a new and expensive unit today. I would recommend Jason and Houser to anyone.

I threw away $75 on a call to Houser. The repairman came and said I needed to replace my entire system and it would cost around $12,000. I called someone else and he fixed the problem for about $900. He laughed at all the things the Houser guy had said to me. He was either incompetent or was trying to scam me or both. It started when my ac was working fine but I saw water dripping from the soffit. The Houser guy came. He blew air through a pipe and when it still leaked he said the coil was damaged. Then he went outside and got a look at my unit (about 10 yrs old) and immediately declared the whole thing was old and would have to be replaced. I asked him to check the freon level in the unit that was not leaking. He checked it and told me it was completely empty. Zero freon. When I asked why the house was cool he said "God must like you. That thing is not cooling." I had a tank of freon, so I asked him to refill it. He plugged in his machine and said "The Freon won't go in." The next day I had someone else come. He checked the freon in that unit and said it was a little low. He added some more. When I told him what the Houser guy had said he thought it was hilarious. Then he replaced the coil for about $900. Works great. A few days later Houser called to ask if I wanted to schedule an estimate to replace my whole system. When I said I was very unhappy with the experience the lady said the owner would call me. Nobody called. I won't be calling them either

House Heating and Air Conditioning,Inc. recently installed a new system in our home. They patiently answered all our questions and fully explained options and prices. Their employes were very diligent about protecting carpeting, etc. in the house and left the work area and areas of the house affected by their work in very clean condition. All persons we contacted with this company were very polite and helpful, and we highly recommend them.

Allen came out to service my A.C. After selling me on why he needed to clean my air handler he realized he didn't have the right cleaner and then went on to tell me how I did not really need it. He then cleaned my A.H. but left my drain clogged and the drain through full of dirt. $450.00 dollars and 2 hours later he left my home. He even closed the unit up with a dirty filter, smiled and left business cards in case I needed him again in the near future. NEVER AGAIN.. I just spent an hour finishing the job..

Hmmm. It really makes me wonder. I am at a disadvantage here primarily because I do not know who you are. You have never called the office about this service, never talked to me, nor can we find any customer that fits the work you described as having been done. The price rates do not match anything near what you claimed to have had done. All of this was done backed with our money back warranty, yet I get no call. Alan does very good work. I would like to have verified this claim.
