Houston Zoo

I love this place. If I could move in, I would.
Just give me a blanket, a good book and let me run free among the beautiful primates :)

There are hardly any benches or seats to take breaks if needed, mind you, it is a large place. Every exhibit is spaced out and the animals on displayneed I say more?

I love to take our children to the zoo but I really think Houston has to do something to make it better. I notice how we can spend tax dollars on so m more...

I remember going to the Houston Zoo when I was a little girl and it was always so much fun for meI'm a big animal lover. But now as an adult I take my two little girls there at least every other month-and it just keeps getting better and better. They have so many more animals-different one from all over the world and the children's portion of the zoo is AWESOME!!! On hot summer days they have a sprinkle area for the kids to run around in and very fun informative shows and displays. Plus you get all the fun available just outside the Zoo door sfor very reasonable prices. :-)

This is not the best zoo, nor is it the worst zoo I have ever visited. It is EXTREMELY hot in the summer, but okay in the spring/fall.
