We have been taking our Bulldog Dozer to Hunter's for 2 years. We board him and also have grooming done. As soon as we pull in the lot Dozer can not wait to get inside. We are able to go on vacation and not worry about our dog. I recommend Hunter's.

They shaved my lab mix and did a beautiful job. I liked the way all employees interacted with my dog. I feel the price was fair for the services they provided (bath, nails, etc.). I will use again.

THEY SAID THE STARTING PRICE TO GROOM MY 7 LB WOULD BE $75. Trimming her nail and cleaning her ears would be extra.

To Poodleneedsgroomeed, Nothing you said is true. Our prices are base on the A.K.C. Breed specifications. The weight of your pet is not considered. We trim nails, Brush Teeth, Clean Ears, Exam/express Anal Sacs, condition the hair and use Organic Dip as part of the bathing process. In over 30 yrs we have never charged extra for these things. So you intentionally misled the public
We bathed one of our dogs there once and were not impressed - self service area is worn & dirty, along with not having an easy way to get bigger dogs into their tubs. We stopped in again to bathe our dog during posted business hours and were told sorry, they were closing 1.5 hours early that day, no explanation. They also quoted me a grooming rate that was over twice what I've paid elsewhere in the past - I'll keep driving a little further for better service and prices, thanks.

To bsundal: Our $15 Self Service Pet Wash is open 7 days a week. Because of the affordable price our Self wash is very busy. Our 5 stations are cleaned & disinfected after each use. So depending on when you came in, the area may have been dirty. BUT , your station was not. NO pets are allowed to use tubs unless it was sanitized. We have always provided Dog stairs and a Dog ramp for larger dogs to enter the tub. Closing 1.5 hrs. early was a decision we made as a small family business. We are not a large corporation. SOMETIMES family matters comes first. Sorry for the inconvience.
For 3 years we have been clients of the Hunters. We would never leave our babies with anyone else. They only give tours to serious clients with a reservation. That means I don't have to worry about a stranger in the boarding area with my dogs. They go for walks, to the Silver comet Trail, they even take them for a ride to the local bank drive thru. Can you imagine how many people, how many times a day, every day walking through the boarding kennel, that is not safe. Thank you Hunter Family for being selective about who enters your boarding kennel. Do not worry about pleasing everyone, continue to keep our babies safe

I called ahead to ask about possibly boarding our dog while we went out of town. They told me to stop by any time to see the facility. When I got there, they rudely told me that no one was allowed to see the area where pets were boarded. Why did they encourage me to stop by?? Don't waste your time.

To Magspark: God and you know your review is unfair and untrue. This is a Family owned business. You may have called inquiring boarding your pet. But no one told you to stop by, No one was rude or discourteous to you. We do not give tours. Some of our boarders family will arrive with their pet, give us a wave and proceed to our family friendly kennel, they will select their pets bedding and toys from our huge inventory. After spending quality time with their pet in our KENNEL, they will come to the front desk to check him in. (LOL)So you see, Why would we not share this information with YOU if you stopped by? We give references of owners and Veterinarians.
Wow ! What a fabulos business. I felt so comfortable leaving my "Lilly" with the Hunter family. The facility is clean, the service is the best, and the quality of care is evident in all the happy little doggie faces you see there.
