Representative came out and reviewed the work I needed to have done. They indicated they would followup with a landscape sketch and estimate the following week. At the end of that week I had not received anything and followed up. The person said I would receive something that day. One week later, still nothing. Either they are too busy or just don't care, but why state they will provide an estimate and then not follow through.

We had a severe erosion problem in the backyard as heavy rains would go down the hill taking top soil, mulch, etc. away. Hutcheson designed a large island containing beautiful plantings and built a "dry creek bed" which serves as the focal point of the yard while allowing rain water to flow beautifully over the rocks to a drain positioned at the lowest point of the yard - a clever, interesting and esthetically pleasing solution.

Many thanks to Hutcheson Horticultural for their experienced and knowledgeable staff. Not only did they make my yard more beautiful, but they also make our community a more pleasing place to live. They are always on time, dependable and knowledgeable. Special thanks go to Emerson. His many years of experience show through in the quality of work he does. Thanks again.

Hutcheson was the vendor used by our builder when we built our house in 2006. Their work was pretty good (although we do have a tree that will have to come down because it is far too close to the house). We had a lackluster experience during our warranty period, as many of our plants died but were never replaced. After we moved in we decided to have some additional work done, so we gave them another chance. We ended up with a tree in the back yard that looked like it fell off a truck, and a dead tree in the front yard, which was then replaced by another dead tree. Customer service was horrible, with the sales consultant acting very rude on multiple occasions. We eventually had to dig up the tree and resod the area. Hutcheson was also responsible for maintaining the common areas of our subdivision, and they were promptly fired after the HOA took over due to quality and cost issues. The bottom line is that Hutcheson did average work and had bad customer service. I would not use them.

We were not contracted with this customer, but with the builder. As always, we satisfied our customer, the builder. The HOA was completely satisfied with our maintenance quality and performance but could not afford our professional services.
This was our second Hutcheson experience. This time we had them build an island in our front yard and enhance one of our existing flower beds. They did a fantastic job. They had an experienced landscape designer come out to our home who listened to our ideas for our front yard transformation. From that conversation, they used their creativity to put together an amazing plan. It was within the budget guidelines - no surprises. They arrived when promised and finished the job promptly. They kept the adjacent work areas clean. A very professional company that I would highly recommend to anyone. We will be using them for our next landscaping project!

I spoke with Matt Mathews the landscape designer there and he came out as my house was being built and designed an awesome plan for my yard, was fair on the price and they do a great job maintaining the yard as well.
