I've used ITM for a while now and have never had any issues. I'm usually not even home when they come by... but last week I was, and only came out because I had to run off to an appointment. Brian (lead for the team) stopped me just to ask if I was satisfied and if there was *anything* else they could do for me. Very classy,

Thank you for your review!!
About 6 years ago I had someone come in and re-sod my yard, put in an irrigation system, and some other work. They "claimed" to be professionals, but were far from it. The yard didn't last, the grass died, weeds came in, and moss began to grow. I then decided to go hire a Professional Company to come in and make recommendations as to what i should do with my yard. I had two problems, shade and water run-off. Eric from In the Mow came out and spent a great deal of time helping me understand what the problems were, and more importantly how he would fix the problem for good. Well here I am 4 months later and my yard is PERFECT. In the Mow re-sodded my yard, put in some plants that would help with my drainage issue, added in a nice rock garden (that hides some water problems) and it looks great. I have since signed an agreement to have ITM come out to take care of my yard weekly from a landscaping, fertilizer and week killer standpoint and fired Scott's Lawn Service. ITM put my yard in and they seem to really care that it stays looking fantastic. I would recommend Eric and In The Mow to anyone. Thanks Eric!

I contracted ITM to install a drain and new landscaping in my yard last year. Only 3 of the 19 azaleas they planted look good, and it's been that way since they were planted - 2 completely died before winter. Of the the other miscellaneous plants, 6 have died and I had to transplant 5 that were on their way out. The design of the landscaping was terrible and made no sense. On top of the dead and suffering plants, they spread about 1.5 feet of mulch around it all and so now I have to dig it up because mold is growing all over it and the plants. They did a good job on the drain, but it didnt work until I dug up all the mulch around it. I spent a lot of money so that I wouldn't have to do the work myself, but I've spent almost as many hours fixing what they did as what they did installing it to begin with. I have called and sent pictures and they avoid me and don't come back. They did come back one time to explain to be that the azaleas were planted properly even though half of the root ball is coming out of the ground and of the few plants they did replace, they died too. Maybe they know how to mow and trim, but DO NOT hire them for anything else.

We are sorry to hear that you have not been happy with your landscape. We use best practices to put plants where they will grow and thrive, however Georgia heat can be hard on all plants in the summer. We also make it a priority to return phone calls and communicate with customers before, during, and following each project. We have many, many satisfied customers over our 10 years in business and work hard every day to do good work.
Thank you! We appreciate your feedback.
We have used ITM Landscaping to replace a retaining wall with stone and for regular yard maintenance. In both cases we are more than satisfied with the quality of their work, their reasonable prices, and their friendly and knowledgeable crew. They have gone beyond my expectations by keeping all aspects of our yard looking good--not just the lawn. I highly recommend them.

Contracted with ITM to fix an erosion/wash problem. Requested that bushes planted keep their leaves year round. What was planted was azaleas and hydrandeas. The hydrandeas started dropping their leaves just days after being planted (September). Have had conversations with Eric and stated that the bushes are not warranted. We have been vigilant about watering. Eric came out to look at the bushes and inspect the total job. He agreed that the amount of pine straw place around the bushes was not adequate. He stated that they would come back and spread 20 more bales. We received an email requesting the remaining balance. We contacted Eric again and stated that we would pay the remaining balance once the 20 bales of pine straw was spread. Once done we paid the remaining balance. We received an email stating that it was a friendly reminder that our payment was past due. When looking at the invoice it was for the 20 bales of pine straw totaling $130.00. We were never told that there would be an additional charge for this. When contacted, Eric would only agree to split the difference due to the miscommunication. We have paid he $65.00 and are glad to be finished with ITM. Would not recommend this company to anyone! We spent a total of $4517.50 for a job that we will have to improve on in the spring.

At In the Mow Landscape, we consistently strive to do high quality work while meeting and exceeding customer expectations. For this particular job, we worked entirely with the husband and this review was written by the wife, whom we never met. After reading the review, we contacted the husband who said he was entirely satisfied with the drainage installations we put in place, which encompassed 90% of the job. We were sorry to hear of the dissatisfaction with the plants and encouraged the homeowners that the hydrangeas that were going dormant would likely be their favorites when they began blooming in the spring.
To clarify some background on this job, our main focus of the job was to correct a large drainage problem. The plant design was a very small portion of the budget. When we had initially discussed the design, he mentioned that they didn't want a design that went entirely dormant, so the design was done with only a few hydrangeas so they'd have some nice color during the summer months and mostly azaleas for a nice spring bloom. As we do with each client, this client was explained the attributes of each plant before we started the job and given a plant list before the project is begun. If we would have known they were against having anything in the design that went dormant, we would have designed something else but the design of hydrangas and azaleas is a beautiful pairing. On that walkthrough, the client also asked for 20 additional bales of pinestraw. We did not discuss price. When he questioned the bill, we agreed to split the difference because of the misunderstanding.
We take client satisfaction very seriously and aim to please with each project we do. We feel that we communicated accurate information, completed a quality project, and responded to the customer's concerns as they were brought to our attention.
We are so glad you are happy with your transformed back yard!
I called ITM based on Kudzu reviews for a major redesign of my backyard that would require hardscaping, landscaping, and some possible grading. He was one of 3 bids for a fairly large project. Initial impressions were great - he was first to respond to my call, first on site to look at the backyard, and spent an hour asking questions. But then the service dropped off. Other detailed bids and designs came in within 48 hours. We specifically waited 4 days for his bid because of the positive interaction on site. The bid lacked any real detail, had no sketch, and was halfway done. A quickly sketched plan came in only after I asked for details via e-mail. When I asked for more details on landscaping with an X budget, I was promised a response by Monday. The details never came. I know they were preoccupied with a flower show that weekend and disclosed that up front (hence the 4 day delay). But what did come in was sub-par. Based off other reviews here, I would give this a second chance but wanted to disclose this experience to others.

We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the chance to win your business in the future.
We have been using In the Mow Landscape services for several years and have NEVER been disappointed. Week in and week out, they consistently provide great lawn services and are always available for any "extras" we find ourselves in need of - ex. laying pine straw, recommendations on plant purchases, semi-annual plantings of annuals, etc. Eric Soles is passionate about his work and his customer's satisfaction. He responds promptly by phone or email to any questions we have. I would highly recommend the landscaping services of In the Mow!

In The Mow came with great ideas taking in to account what we wanted. They managed to do their job while working around our son installing a fence. I can't praise them too highly for their professional efforts and the great job they did with out hillside project. I wish I had a before shot to show you but will try and add the after shot. Great job In The Mow. Now to get the driveway done lol. I can't wait for spring to see things in bloom.

Eric helped us design a backyard landscape with patios, a swing and a waterfall and it turned out great. The key aspect is a pondless waterfall that grew during the effort from 20 feet to its current 65 foot lengh. It is stunning!

Eric has the very best attitude possible , his company's work is fantastic and the follow up is way above and beyond. They did a great job planting 9 trees in our yard. When one of the trees had a problem, Eric completely remedied the situation. We are very happy with In the Mow and we highly recommend them. Chris Curley Atlanta, GA
