Good Food !, 12/25/2012

Took my wife and some friends to a birthday party, food was amazing and the show was part of this great experience. If you are looking for a great night and great authentic food this is the place.

Great experience, 5/16/2012

Great atmosphere and experience. The food was ok but the entertainment, decor, tradition, and drinks were great! When you first arrive you have to remove your shoes then your are seated on pillows on... the floor where there is a low table. Before the meal you wash your hands in rose petal water and you eat the meal with your hands! There are belly dancers and music for entertainment all night as well. Not sure that I would return but deff would go at least once.

I WILL RETURN!

My boyfriend and I went to Imperial Fez for my birthday. It was amazing! From the moment we walked in I felt like I was in another world. The waiting room is set up like a cozy living room and the eating area was great too. It was very romantic! I read some not so great reviews about the service and was a bit apprehensive,, My waiter Mohammed was EXCELLENT! He continued to bring refills and he was super funny! The food was amazing. I am from the islands and picky about my food being well seasoned. Imperial Fez did not drop the ball! There was plenty to eat as well. Between plates there is an carrot aromatic "palate cleanser" they served us. My boyfriend described the wonderful taste as "eating a taste of fresh cool air". We skipped drinks and the Hookah(next time we will get it). Our bill including tip was $172... BUT It WAS WELL WORTH IT! I WILL BE BACK! PS: Bring your own socks (they charged for $5 for a pair)

Wonderful Evening

I chose to take my wife to Imperial Fez for her birthday. I did not alert the staff so as to just enjoy a quiet evening. The atmosphere was authentic, the service was wonderful and helpful and the food was truly an experience. The 5 course meal is $45 per person, well worth the flavorful faire and atmosphere. I would recommend anyone choosing to sample the Fez should go with an open mind. The Chef/Owners have created an experience that is authentic and will give you a chance to experience a full dining experience -- the sights, sounds, feel and tastes. You will sit on pillows and low chairs, eat with your fingers and enjoy entertaining bellydancers. This evening we were treated to both a sword dance and a fire dance. The dancers were beautiful and quite engaging even with a young boy's birthday party. Family fun for all... Don't miss any of this!!

Not Overly Impressed

Service is a hit and miss. Food is a hit and miss, but you have to be in the mood for Moroccan food. The atmosphere is romantic and can be cozy depending on where you sit.

speechless

I didn't know what to expect. My twin and I had a birthday experience to behold. Leave your shoes at the door. Have a seat on cushions or low chairs. Your hands will be washed at the table, cuz your eating with them until your main course arrives. So don't fill up on bread!! It was incredible we had one belly dancer (I guess the middle of the week is slow), dancing with fire, balancing a sword...the men trying to put $$ on her girrating hips was hilarious. And a rose ceremony for our birthday. I'm glad that I didn't have to see the bill. :-)

This is an event, not just a dinner out!

Authentic Moroccan cuisine, replete with live belly dancers and the unique high pourers of delicious teas that never spill a drop. This establishment is not an eatery, but a whole experience for the senses. Comfortable, scenic, and delicious, this place will make you want to return to the Lawrence of Arabia days for dinner. Don't plan a movie afterward, however!

decent food

Go here with a group and have fun. The food is decent, but very expensive. This is more of an experience than fine dining.

Lots of fun!

This place was fun, albeit a little pricey. If you plan to sit on cushions at a low table, keep that in mind when choosing your outfit. I wore a somewhat short dress, which was a bit difficult! Also, be prepared to remove your shoes before entering the dining area.

Great experience

I've had better authentic food in other places, but the entertainment is top notch. Leave any inhibitions (and your shoes) at the door.

An out-of-this-world experience

Fabulous fine dining with authentic Moroccan dishes. Extremely expensive, but worth it for celebrating special occasions.

Get a man to take you ...

I've only been here once, and from what I remember the food was decent, but the atmosphere was the real selling point for this place. Yes, you sit on the floor and the place looks like the inside of a persian rug palace. Live belly dancers round out the hookah-infused environment. I remember getting a whole, uncut artichoke heart on my plate that was really awkward to eat. I probably wouldn't go here again unless a man paid for it ... agian. :)
