Import Service Center Inc

Had great experiences with Import Service Center. Followed the boys to Karma once it closed. Still having good experiences.

Dont know what some of these others are saying, but I had great service at Karma VW. The area is interesting, but the people were friendly and helpfull. My Passat had some kind of weird electrical problem that Jim Ellis nor Dwight could repair. I had already dumped a bunch of money on the problem, but jonathan down at karma was able to repair it. Many thanks and definately recommend

PLEASE don't do what I did and use Karma VW for your repairs! I just found out it's going to cost me $600 to fix what they already charged me almost $1000 to 'fix' less than 6 mos ago- turns out they replaced unbroken parts and didn't touch the real problem at all. AND I just finished paying $3000 to replace the remanufactured heads Import Svc Ctr installed a mere 1-1/2 yrs ago

I was a loyal customer of Import Svc Ctr for 6 yrs- first with a 79 bus then my present 87 vanagon (my 1st water-cooled!)
So it happened that I was one of KarmaVW's first customers I asked for a tuneup and brake job by the next day(Fri) and told ok. By 4 on Friday, I got worried and called- was told only they were figuring up the bill and to come on out (the new location is 45 min away on Marta).
I arrived at 4:50 on a Fri to a $900 BILL! No one ever called me to approve this
I could go on about how they installed parts I probably didn't need, or that over $500 of that bill was labor, but

Basically, this is NOT Import Svc Ctr anymore, so BUYER BEWARE!...
