Sweeney takes great care to examine his patients for potentially serious problems affecting their vision and overall health of the eyes.
His services are quick, painless, and rather inexpensive.
I asked him to perform retinal scans over the last few years and we have, together, looked at the changes over time. He even sent me the images.

I won't see anyone else.

After decades of being told by an old fashioned eye dr. that they just didn't make soft contact lenses in my prescription, I expected more of the same when I saw Dr. Sweeney. BUT.he had me in super comfortable daily wear soft lenses when I left his office! I literally cried for the freedom from discomfort, expensive solutions, worry about losing a lens . if you wear hard GP lenses you know what I mean. Because of Dr. Sweeney's high tech exam, I know know that my eyes are healthier than I was lead to believe, as well. John and Jeremy in the optical shop are absolutely the BEST and lots of fun, too. All around great staff and eye care....

Dr. Sweeney and his staff have always provided excellent services to me. After I found Dr. Sweeney, I no longer trusted anyone else with helping me find the right contact lenses. It wasn't until I met with Dr. Sweeney that I actually was prescribed special lenses that were not only comfortable, but also provided me the ability to see better than I ever have. After 5 years of being a loyal customer of theirs, unfortunately I must find another eye doctor, only because I relocated 700 miles away. You cannot find another eyecare center that will go above and beyond like this one.

This place is very pleasant and welcoming, but hold on to your purse or wallet. I had to return for a re-check after their prescription wasn't working out for me. Unusally this is a no charge situation. Not only was I charged again, but they kept me for a long time trying to sell me some stuff I did not want. And, I don't understand how they can file insurance when I've never filed insurance for an eye exam in my 45 years. Actually, the insurance was not helpful since I had to pay their exam charge and my insurance deductible. I did not have good luck with this practice. They were nice as could be but I just did not trust them as I have other practitioners.

And, if you're getting glasses there, you'll want to ask for their policy for exchanges/returns in writing. I was told two different things, so be careful about that.

I like this place I feel special like someone is guiding me on what looks best for me. I have found that most eye places don't even have a chart or anyone knowledgeable on what looks good on who. This place makes me feel that I have made the right choice for me....
