Love this place. The naan, rice pudding, chicken tikka are awesome. Heard great things about their Saturday buffet, hope to try that soon.

I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants in Atlanta and India Chef is BY FAR the best. Their weekend lunch buffet is amazing and their lunch specials are outstanding. I *HIGHLY* recommend this restaurant if you like Indian food.

This is one of my top three favorite restaurants. The buffet is fresh and tasty, the price is very reasonable, and the service is extremely friendly. I visit weekly and have never been disappointed.

My wife and I tried this place for takeout in 2007 when the restaurant was still located on Alpharetta Hwy, and it was unfortunately a horrible experience! We both came down with a very bad case of food poisoning, which knocked us both out of work for a couple of days. The food could best be described as "stale". Everything, from the entrees to the standard white rice, had a taste of having sat around in the back too long. I hope we just had a once in a lifetime poor experience, but it was enough to never make us want to go back. Sorry, India Chef!

We have been to many different Indian restaurants in the Georgia area and each time we find that the India Chef is the place where they have the best food and service of any other that we have been to.

So I originally thought this place was a good bet...see posting below, but since they've moved to their new location on Holcomb Bridge, I have to report that the service has gotten to be very bad. This past Saturday we went it was 50 minutes before they even brought us water. The only reason we stayed was because of the good service we had received in the past. Food is still good, but the new location has killed their customer service. Original Post Lunch is always a good bet with the buffet, but we usually go for dinner. They are hospitable, provide a great deal of very tasty food and the attention to detail is very good.

I have patronized a large percentage of North and South Indian restaurants in this town. This is my favorite North Indian. Unlike most Indian Restaurants, the service here is wonder. They accommodate special requests and even offer delivery. Their food is always wonderful and the staff always friendly. They have a very nice selection of beers but trust the server to suggest a wine. I have never been disappointed with their suggestion. The mulligatawny and lamb vindaloo are my favorites but don't pass up on their tandoori chicken or chana masala. They will spice to taste. Music is nice and relaxing. If you like Indian, a must try.
