Russ Abbot and his crew have discovered the secret to running an ultra clean, ultra ambient, upper end tattoo parlor while still treating customers with value and respect. I went there for my first tattoo and was worried about getting inked by "Tattoo Snobs." My concerns were laid aside almost immediately upon hitting the chair. Russ came in an engaged me in conversations reminiscent of your traditional hometown barber. His team is able to keep a unique and colorful shop while keeping things clean and sterile. A key word here is time. His artist took lots of it to make sure I was comfortable with the placement of my tattoo, making over four different stencils and replacing it the same number of times to help me find what fit the best. Russ' artist kept his word on all his promises, even up to the draft of my tat the day before I came into the shop. If you want a tat with some true soul and an experience that makes you feel at home, Ink and Dagger is for you.

Hey Russ, My son has raved about all the work you have done on him over the years. So much so, that on this family reunion trip,(after paying & scheduling with you one year ago), he is coming for touch up and more ink. Loyalty? I think so. I only hope that your not running late,(being in high demand as you are). This is going to be the last reunion for 2 years. Russ, if you have any no shows before 1pm on Aug. 17th 2011, please let Fred know so he can come early and have even more time with his family,(of which you are now a part!). A favor for his Dad? Thanks Russ. John (whose trying to get all 6 kids & 6 grandkids together at one time!!).

Of all the tattoo places I've been to in the past Ink & Dagger is by far the best. The staff is professional and the facility itself is extremely clean. I've been many times and never had a bad experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

First of all, they made us wait 4 hours past our scheduled appointment time, the artist (Jason) was unapologetic and rude, he then refused to make creative changes to the design and snapped at us saying " I don't get paid for design", he was condescending and very inhospitable. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! Stay Away... not worth the hype!

I recently got a tattoo from Jeremy at Ink and Dagger, and whole experience was incredible. He did a great job. I plan to go back to Ink and Dagger since they maintain a high level of skill (Jeremy is no longer there, but Russ keeps bringing in the talent), and the shop is unique and very clean.

My experience was absolutely wonderful. I came back for my appointment after my initial meeting and had to wait a while -which is to be expected- but the guys kept checking on me and apologizing. I wasn't upset at all but it was nice to know they cared so much. The artist that actually tatooed me was in town on a guest spot (Elijah from Pennsylvania) but he was just as nice and friendly as everyone else in the shop. I was more than happy with the final outcome of my tattoo and cannot stop looking at it! Even though I was tatooed by a guest, the other artists were just as professional and incredibly talented as well. I looked at some other shops in the heart of Atlanta, but ended up chosing Ink & Dagger. I am very, very happy I did.

I finally decided to honor my late mother with a tattoo. I looked up Ink & Dagger on Kudzu, and with their ratings, made an appointment. Kurt did mine, and what a wonderful tattoo it is! Minimal pain (just tingling). He's an artist, and made a great drawing of exactly what I had in mind. I had just a little peeling, but no itching or scabbing. It healed up great. I'm ready for my second tattoo. Definitely see Kurt.

Several years back I wrote a review touting Russ Abbott and his shop as one of my favorites. Well, I recently had some work done by another of its outstanding resident artists: Kurt Fagerland. Once again, the work was outstanding, artistic, and original. Do yourself a favor and go to there.

My best friends and I decided to get tattoos to for a friend's birthday celebration. I enjoyed the artists professionalism as they worked with each of us to create a unique design however big or small we wanted. Russ did my tattoo and discussed options of color choices for my African-American skin. All of us had a blast cracking jokes while we admired each other's new artwork. I will definitely go back, and recommend this pretty cool and very clean place to you.

Most folks thought I was crazy when I drove 7 hours to get tattooed at Ink & Dagger. But after seeing the final result, everyone knows why. Ink & Dagger is staffed with some of the best artists I have ever seen work, including Russ Abbott, who is absolutely incredible. The shop itself is also neat, clean, and comfy, providing an outstanding environment for first-timers, as well as old pros. If you're looking for a great tattoo, I would highly recommend checking out Ink & Dagger. You won't be disappointed!

Seriously! Amazing! My experience here was awesome i will never go anywhere else. I was originally supposed to be tattooed by another artist but got a call from Russ volunteering his services. It really was everything you would want in a tattoo parlour. Clean, proffessional, great music. Very coolRuss is really a down to earth guy. You couldnt be more comfortable. As far as the work goes... I merely gave a direction and an idea and Russ met my expectations and more. He totally took my description and turned into a piece of art.
