I came here on my break from work one day and found my new oasis! I booked the Lunch Break Escape package and it was amazing. I received a 30 minute hand, arm and neck massage (the therapist was fantastic and it felt so good to relieve the tension from typing!) Then I had lunch in this private garden area (which is included in the package). I went back to work for the afternoon and then I was able to go back to the spa that evening to enjoy their fitness center, sauna/steam, pool and jacuzzi (at no extra cost) - I felt so relaxed and refreshed when I went home that night. This was exactly what I needed. The staff is very knowledgable and accomodating - oh, and I almost forgot to mention that valet parking is complimentary for spa customers!

I booked an apppointment for SPA week. I am new to the area and find my new spa. I travel alot and love spas, so I know what is average, good and amazing. This place is amazing! I got there early so I could use their facilities. I walked into the spa and the aroma was very relaxing, but yet pleasurable. The staff was very attentive, warm and genuine. They brought me this nice vanilla tea, and I loved the touch of the hot towels. I got to relax by the pool and get some sun before my treatment. They let me know that I could wait in their tranquility garden area before my service. Wow! I loved relaxing on the hammocks on the grassy area. What a treat! \rWhen it was time, my massage therapist took me into the villa. I got to relax in their aromatherapy bath for 15 minutes. Boy was that heaven! The jets and the light made me feel so light and relaxed. The therapist then came in and gave me a reflexology treatment. I have never received one before. Wow. My whole body felt so restored just from my feet being massaged. \rAll in all, from the smell, the facilities, the hammocks, the tub, the service, the whole experiece was unforgettable. I am so happy to have found my new oasis!!!

This is my first negative review EVER!! I feel compelled to comment on the service at this ""spa."" One woman was intolerably rude to my party (tempted to name drop but won't ---I'll just call her ""V""). All our appts. were booked in the morning except 1 in the afternoon because those were the only slots they had available. While we waited for my friend to finish her afternoon treatment, we went swimming and enjoyed the sauna (which was included). The spa hostess had the nerve to ask us if we were planning to stay at the spa all day because she was running short on lockers!! I told her we were just waiting for my friend to complete her afternoon appt. The icing on the cake was when she gave us tons of attitude about the fact that I had booked our party under 1 name as I had done at other spas and have had no problem. She said in a very condescending way that the therapists had to have each of our names ""because you wouldn't want your therapist to call you George, if your names was Charles, would you?"" I was dumbfounded!!! I offered to help her sort out all our names and so waited next to her desk to assist her. She asked me ""is there something you need?"" in a bitchy way And I responded, I was going to try to get the names squared away with you. Then she told me i should go in the locker room and start using the facility. I said fine and went to my locker. Five minutes later she follows me into the room and says she needs my help straightening all the names out!!!!! I shook my head at her and told her that was why I waited at her desk in the first place! At this point, I was ticked this lady was ruining my spa trip!! Finally, she apologized and told me that it was the spa's fault for not explaining the name policy to us!! We even bought spa products from these people! I am never going back because I have NEVER had such rude and condescending service at a spa!!! Go to the Ritz in Marina Del Rey if you want to pamper yourself, not this place!

Could not be more happy with a spa service. The facilities are super clean and quiet. The villas are very private and the treatments are fantastic. The people are also top notch. Afterwards you can enjoy a beverage poolside and lounge. You'll absolutely love it.

Very nice spa. Sort of feels private since it is not very busy. I wanted to purchase a gift certificate, but their machine was not working and had to come back. This would have been fine, if it were not for the fact it was during the holiday season.\r\r

This spa is the best Spa I?ve ever attended in Los Angeles. I have never seen a spa where in your treatment home you have your own private Jacuzzi tub, shower, relaxation area and garden. I had the Aromasoul Pearl Scrub Ritual and was so wowed with this service. Its a three in one service. I started out with a full body scrub using real crushed pearl then massaged with great smelling aroma oil then it was finished off with me taking a aromatherapy bath in my own private Jacuzzi. After the service I was so relaxed and my skin felt so soft and smooth I never wanted to leave my treatment Villa. The staff was so friendly and attentive I felt I was a millions miles away for the city. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone who wants to be sweep away from daily stresses and wants to feel millions of miles away from home.I was very impressed. Two thumps up.

I live and work in the area close to the Intercontinental Hotel. I decided to check out the gym at the hotel after spending a long day at the office. I contacted the spa and got a day price for the facilities. When I arrived I was given a different price. Then after further discussion with the assistant I was given yet a third different price. Over all the facilities were clean and the service was good. If they can get their prices set that would have made the visit more enjoyable. \r

In a very competitive spa market teaming with one-upsmanshp the Spa InterContinental located at the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City was a pleasant surprise. Every step of the way was greeted with attentive, crisp yet friendly staff members.\r\rThe spa itself, located on the second floor of the hotel, is easy to find; just follow the incredible aroma! Checking in was quick and efficient and the spacious locker room spotless. The real treat was the spa villa itself. Most treatment rooms range from as small as 250 square feet to about 500. Spa InterContinental has about 800 square feet PLUS an outdoor patio where the therapist greets you with a selection of scented massage oils. I recommend the Biotone whose natural oils produce a lovely fragrance.\r\rThe massage experience itself was excellent. Sagarie was my masseuse and the deep tissue massage was delivered with care, detail yet no small amount of pressure. The deep soaking tub inside the villa is an added bonus. You can also rent the villa in fifteen minute increments to make use of the soaking tub or order lunch on the patio.\r\rNicole the receptionist showed me the couples massage room, not a bad thing to keep in mind with Valentine?s Day around the corner.\r\rIncluded in the reasonable price was valet parking

Exhausted and tensed, I went to the Spa Intercontinental for a quick fix. I was recommended to try this hidden spot inside the Intercontinental hotel. As I arrived at the spa, I was welcome with a warm towel for my hands and the tea of my choice. I wanted the regular swedish massage I usely get but let myself convinced to try the coffee body scrub. A total delight. I felt so much better and full of energy afterwards. Not to mention the size of my room... private patio, bathtub, plasma screen and so on. I could not resist and purchase additional time in the villa to further complete my relaxation.\rIt was really a treat and will go back regularly for sure.
