Iron horse Remodeling

I had small projects that required roof repair and sheetrock replacement. Wes came out gave me an estimate and commenced the work. In the beginning everything went well; the guys were punctual, efficient, and the quality of the work seemed to be ok. However, the sheetrock guy left town and Wes had no replacement, and my problems began. I was told that the guy had an emergency that required him to leave town.


The roofer repaired the roof from a fallen tree, but he could not repair another leak, and after calls and emails, Wes, eventually. did not follow through on this issue either. He never returned, but sent someone else out to complete the drywall job before the roof was repaired. Consequently, there are water stains on the drywall.


Wes put me on the back burner and said that he would follow-up, but he stopped responding to emails. One day he said he needed some of the payment and I mistakenly paid him, and that was the end of the project for him. My house is unfinished, walls, unpainted, roof still leaking, and baseboards broken. Be careful if you use him and by all means do not pay anything up front.

Did an excellent job removing old flooring and installing new flooring. One issue during install but Wes was easy to get in touch with and resolved it quickly. Also did an excellent job with some drywall repair. Overall very pleased with the work that was done but have been disappointed that I have not had phone calls returned to finish work in a bathroom or for pricing on additional flooring on stairs. Wes said he would send me pricing for doing the stairs and when he returned to do the bathroom he could do the stairs but I have not seen a quote and had to finish the bathroom myself. I have left messages and waited for over a month before proceeding to do it myself.

Owning a home in another state can be a headache when you need your tub and floor replaced. Iron Horse made the whole process very easy. We took care of everything one the phone and on line. Saved me alot of time. They did a great job. I would definitely recommend them.

I called Iron Horse yesterday, and they were here today to do the job. After tiring of waiting months for another contractor to finish the job, the fast service was a breath of fresh air. The job was done in a few hours -- it involved adding trim to the bottom of wood paneling and hooking up two jacuzzi bath tubs. They were professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I would most certainly call again for any remodeling or repair needs. The price was also very reasonable.

Iron Horse showed up when they said they would. Wes was very professional and knew what needed to be done and was able to give me a specific time frame. During the job, it was usually easy to reach him, but I did usually call him to get updates and communication on status and time frame. His workers were professional. I wasn't pleased with one subs job and he had them come back to do it until it was satisfactory.
