His charges were astronomical, his arrogance was unbelievable, and I would never willingly choose to see him again. When going over the results of many tests which had been done with great difficulty and expense, I asked him a question. He never answered my question and said flatly, "I already told you that." He doesn't apparently believe that a patient is entitled to a question or opinion concerning their own body and life. Also, beware that his charges for obtaining your own file and test results are very high. When I asked for a copy of my medical file, the office staff could not have been less helpful. Then they charged me over $43.00 for furnishing me with 18 pages. I was also told that if I had the file sent to another doctor there would be not a charge. Why do they seem to be so reluctant to allow you to see your own medical test results and medical notes that you have paid dearly for? If there were a negative numbering system, I would use that and give his office a minus 100 or so.

I could not loose weight and I knew something was wrong, but my other doctors didn't believe me. Dr. Isaacs listened to me. He diagnosed me with a tumor in my pituitary gland that made me gain weight. I had surgery for the tumor at Emory in June. I feel so much better. Thank you Dr. Isaacs for saving my life.

Dr. Issacs impressed me with his knowledge of my condition and the fact that he's authored books on the subject. Very thorough and great bedside manner. It was worth the drive out of my way. His nutritionist (on site) was also helpful and convenient. Great Services.

I have seen several endocrinologists in Atlanta and in other cities and Dr. Isaacs is by far one of the best. I have several problems including PCOS and thyroid issues and felt horrible and hopeless. I was tired all the time, gaining weight and was on my way to having diabetes or a heart attack or worse. Other doctors all told me the same thing...eat less and exercise more. No one seemed to take me seriously. Dr. Isaacs had a much different approach. He took the time to review my previous medical records but he also did very extensive testing of his own. He found out I had other problems including a problem with my pituitary gland causing a deficiency in growth hormone. He helped me get started on treatment (not an easy task with my insurance company). For the first time in a long time, I really feel well. I have recommended Dr. Isaacs to several of my friends and they all love him as well.
