Island Prime and C Level Lounge

I love Island Prime. The food is excellent, the service is superior and you cant beat the view. One of my favorites in San Diego

Island Prime will offer you one of San Diego's best dining experiences. A terrific view, an exceptional menu, and fine service. However, be prepared to pay up for this amazing dining experience.

My husband and I had eaten on the outside deck (called the C-Level) for lunch one day and just loved the fantastic view of San Diego Bay. It felt like you could reach out and touch the boats. This restuarant hangs paritally over the water. And the food and menu options are purely a gourmet delight. We had french fries in a beautiful cone shaped container and lobster bisque and cobb salad that was absolutely great. $80 for lunch and 2 drinks each. I believe dinner is also served outside, too. Every thing they served was done in gourmet style and fashion. I heard that the Island Prime indoors had a different menu, but of course, was more expensive. So we chose to celebrate our anniversary inside Island Prime. A very beautifully appointed restuarant, there is not a bad view in the house. There are however, some booths to the rear that cannot see the water as well, but still there is a view. Fantastic service from the start. I've been to Ruth Chris and they have fantastic food, but I have been rather dissappointed in their service in the past and how loud it gets in the restuarant. When I'm dropping a couple $200 to $300 (I like nice wine), I want it all. And Island Prime delivers. Unbeliveable water and skyline view, fantastic service, and sublime food. I would reccomend C-Level for anytime you want to treat yourself and loved one(s) to to a delightful outdoor dining experience. And I would highly reccomend Island Prime (indoors) for those special occassions.

I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. The food was excellent, the view on the water was even better. The atmosphere was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed dining here. This is definately a restaurant to take someone to for a special occassion. Highly recommend!

Island Prime serves up some really delicious food. The place is really nicely decorated and the service was great.
