Issaquah Dance Theatre

I use reviews when finding new places so have started giving reviews myself. I logged on to review IDT as this is truly a fantastic studio. We tried several and stuck here as the staff were amazingly welcoming, professional, warm to my child and clearly had a load of talent and skill to share, not just as dancers but as teachers as will. \r\rI like that:\rOffice staff are organised, friendly and helpful\rInstructors are organised, warm and skilled\rStudio is organised, smaller but very well laid out with good viewing and seperate office space with shop (that sells quality items for convenience not money making).\r\rDont like:\rthat it wasnt' around when I was a little girl.\r\rWe really did try several other studios concurrently before committing to one, and this one won hands down, so would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a dance studio. \r\rI read the one poor review and was surprised- we certainly don't have the same impression but they didn't go into detail of their problems which I would suspect someone with a genuine issue would do.

Love everything about Issaquah Dance Theater. Owner Alicia has created such a special place. We have two little girls -- one outgoing and one a bit shy (at first) --both have done beautifully under the direction of the teachers that help each of our daughters grow in their own unique way. The studio has a warm and inviting atmosphere and we love getting to peak in the windows during class and watch our babes. The recitals happen twice a year and they are so well done. We've started a new family tradition with them. Our entire crew (Grandparents, nieces, nephews, aunts etc) look forward to coming to the shows and then going out for post-show treats!

All I can say is that the bad reviews are not accurate! Issaquah Dance Theatre ALWAYS starts their classes on time, and get out on time, too! Amazing staff, great place to dance. 5 easy stars!

Issaquah Dance Theatre is an exceptional studio. It is rare to find such a high level of ballet training combined with a positive and nurturing environment for the dancers. This studio is for families looking for a fun class for their child or for the family looking for a studio for their advanced dancer.

I have twin 10 yo girls that have been dancing here since they were 4 years old. In this time we have watched one of my daughters grow into a gifted dancer who might really have a future in dance! She's now competing in dance and keeping up with anything the older dancers can do (proud mom!). My other daughter has autism and is totally accepted here. She is doing ballet and jazz, not quite at the level of her twin, but loving every minute of it and really getting a lot more than just dance lessons out of her experience. IDT has bent over backwards to accept her and accomodate her needs! I will never forget that.\r \rWe have some of our best friends here. The dance recitals are really amazing. What a great experience to be part of!
