Yes, I saw and tried them locally but ended up buying them online through Italia. Sonny was great to work with and the sectional arrived on time (actually a few weeks early) and delivered to my door.

I have not bought my furniture yet. But I have had the pleasure of dealing with Sandy at Natuzzi Atlanta. I called her 2 days ago and asked about a sectional from Italsofa. I asked her if she carried any other brand and I decided upon a piece from Schillig. The price was the best and most importantly, she was not curt or rude over the telephone. I have called a few in New York and they sound like I am trying to sell them something. Plus they were more expensive! Sandy worked with me first with the history of Schillig, offered me suggestion on different type and configuration, and finally today I decided which one I would like to buy, thanks for her great effort. I know the wait sucks a little bit, like 4 months, but hey you want to order custom leather sectional, you have to deal with the wait. I am 90% ready to place the order, I just have to discuss it first with my DH. Thank you Sandy! What a marvelous experience. SJ from Houston.

I'm posting an update to the review I posted in May. I finally received my sofa and was not impressed. It had issues and was not made correctly and did not look or feel like the floor model I picked out in January. The Natuzzi people tried to fix it, but not to satisfactory condition. To me it is unacceptable, however the Natuzzi people refuse to do anything more. Sunny, the general manager of Italia furniture has given me contradictory statements on what she will do to rectify the situation as a representative of Natuzzi. And now, my only options seem to be to take another sofa that I do not like at all, or take a 75% refund and just eat $375. Not to mention that my most recent phone conversation with Sunny resulted in her being rude, curt, and argumentative with me AGAIN. I am not a person who ever takes the time to write reviews, but I have felt so strongly about this situation, that I had to post. I also am not a person who lies, or is overdramatic and distorts the truth. I will not be giving my business to Italia Furniture again, or Natuzzi.

We apologize for the inconvenience. The problem has been addressed, and Sunny no longer works for the Company. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the curt & rude service. It is not indicative of our ethos, and we have taken nessecary measures to prevent that from happening again.
I must have called 5 or 6 furniture stores trying to find a specific Natuzzi sofa model. Every person I talked to had no trouble telling me, "No. We don't have it," and leaving it at that. Fortunately, I called Italia Furniture and Sunny went above and beyond - emailing me photos of sofa configurations they DID have, which were similar to what I was looking for. What a refreshing experience! Yes, the wait was long because we special ordered a floor model in a different color, but it was well worth it. We love our sofa. Also, rest assured that after the sale, they continue to maintain a helpful and professional attitude. One of the legs on my sofa was unable to be attached correctly when it was delivered. ~1 week later they sent someone to the house to repair it and, as always, followed up with a call to make sure everything was ok. So nice to finally find a business that feels quality is important, both in furniture and service!

I really found this place by happenstance. It is the greatest find though. The selection is absolutely the best I have seen for quality leather. The greatest surprise was the dining, bedroom selection, rugs, wonderful lamps. Fortunately that had a model in stock and they were able to deliver it the next day. I really like the fact that they are a family owned and operated business. There is a personal attentiveness that you can't get at a chain.

The worst thing about Italia Furniture is that they make everything custom, so you can't get it right away. If you know what you want, it's definitely worth the wait. They have very competetive prices and the quality is great. I paid less than I would have at a discount chain and got far better quality, and cut, color, and grain of my choice in the bargain. If you're looking for a throwaway couch this is not the right place, but then you shouldn't be buying new anyway. Based on initial quality, their offerings will last years or decades. Definitely check them out if there's a sale going on.

Just an update...Thank you for the great rating. Great news! We do have over 80 models on the showroom floor for immediate delivery. If the color and configuration you happen to need is in the showroom it is deliverable. We turn product very quickly because we do not have 'floor models'. Everything in our showroom is handpicked and practically one of a kind. Plus, we have 6 models stocked in multiple colors. This is a direct result of feedback from our customers and designers who frequent our store. There is now a great selection of readily available colors and styles! Come by soon! Ciao!
