I wish I would have read the reviews before joining! Please, please, please do not fall for their great sales pitch. They are good sales people and that is the extent of it. IJL took my money and I got nothing but excuse after excuse from them. They put my membership on eternal hold, kept my money and gave me the run around until they said my membership was expired.

It's Just Lunch (IJL) Atlanta described a man to me, told me he was divorced and suggested him as a match. We were introduced on June 27, 2008. The man also said he was divorced. Long story short, he was NOT divorced -- I have since learned that he did not even FILE for divorce until about a month after he met me. His divorce was not final until Aug. 14, 2009, almost 14 months AFTER he met me. IJL purports at his website to match you with single people -- this guy was NOT single. So who needs them?

Before I payed I was promised by my matchmaker that she would be my best friend...setting me up witn the perfect guy for me. She didn't care about me. Once she had my money she was rude and I felt like an inconvenience. The guys? ok, just not good matches...and isn't that what it is all about? That is what I was promised.

IJL may work elsewhere but there is no real franchise in Atlanta. It is run out of Miami. They don't know what their clients look like nor seem to pay any attention to the client's preferences. They set up random dates based upon who is available. When you give feedback it is ignored. Save your money, at least on Match you can see the person and learn something about them before you decide to go on a date. Every woman I met through IJL indicated that they were also unhappy with IJL.

Walk into a public place, look over to your left, and hand $1500.00 to the next stranger walking past you. It will probably go to better use. Your average Match.com member at best. You will not receive anything remotely close to what you request. And they mean NO REFUNDS! "Don't drink the Kool Aid" It's a great sales pitch and excellent marketing. The 1 Star is way too high for this service, but you have to select something.

They brag about second dates and listening to you. I had 15 dates, only 3 led to second dates and none led to thirds. I was fixed up with guys too old, that didn't meet my educational wants and who apparently weren't pleased with me. At the and of my contract - they didn't care what feedback I wanted to offer. Match.com is cheaper and the odss are just as bad. I couldn't recommend IJL to ANYONE! 1 star is too many.

I have been really disappointed in this service. They sell themselves as good matchmakers, but twice now they have set me up with someone more than 10 years older than me, even though I have told them I won't date over 40.
