Really liked the service I received today at J & L Automotive. They checked over my Jeep and made some future recommendations but did not try to upsell me on any services. Looking forward to having them service all my vehicles.

I've been using J&L for 4 years for 2 vehicles regular maintenance and repairs. John and staff (1) treat me, a female, with respect (2) do only the needed repairs without trying to sell me stuff the cars don't need like other places do, (3) do high quality work and (4)treat regular customers extra good. I don't get regular oil changes there only because it's too far to drive, but the extra distance is well worth it for repairs and tune-ups.

John saved a friend of mine nearly $1,000 by doing a through diagnosis on her car's A/C system. Prior to bringing her car to J & L, she had estimates from $1,200 to $1,600 to replace her compressor, as well as other components. John's team inspected it and found the compressor to be malfunctioning due to air being in the system. Once they bled the entire system, refilled it and reset it to factory spec's, the A/C was once again working like new and including a 1-YR warrantee. All for less than 25% of the other shop's estimates. J & L could have provided the common wisdom of suggesting new components, but because they chose to look deeper into the problem, my friend is totally happy with her A/C, and saved a grand in the process!

John and his crew always do what they say they are going to do. I give many thanks for the work they do. I trust him with our fleet of Sprinter vans as well as my personal vehicle. He has all the right tools and computers to diagnose any make or model vehicle you have.

Dear Suwaneeriver, I encourage you to call John Buonamia at 770-622-9242,our shop. It is not,nor ever will be our practice to surprise a customer with an invoice over their estimate. In fact our computer program does not allow us to increase an estimate without documenting whom we spoke with and when. It is not our practice either to tell customers to “SHOP” prices and we will beat the price. We do claim to be your “DEALERSHIP” alternative on that we are comfortable in promising better value and service and beat their pricing. Our philosophy is to take care of our customers and their vehicles to maintain the safety and performance of their vehicles. We strive to maintain our customer base. John, the J in J&L Automotive Repairs & Service Inc. is a hands-on owner, a Master Technician with 35 years’ experience. We have an investment in diagnostic equipment, tools and computers to properly diagnose any vehicle that we work on. If an estimate is ever revised because of an unforeseeable issue we would never presume to do the work without the customer’s understanding and approval. As the L in J&L Automotive Repairs and Service Inc. I review every invoice. I know of no invoice that has been $500-$600 dollars over the estimate. Perhaps you meant to post this to some other J&L Auto there are several in the Atlanta area. If you are or were our customer than please call us and we will be happy to go over your invoice. We take pride in our work, service and customer satisfaction. We are not the kind of shop that tries to get you in the door, overbill and send you on your way. What a pleasure to do business with an automotive shop that provides a family owned hometown feel! Not to be confused with small town equipment. These guys have all the latest and upto date diagnostic equipment I have seen. Today's car's are all computers and electrical issues. They take the time to show you and explain what's wrong. With my first foreign vehicle I was frustrated with dealership mumbo jumbo They told me what I needed and only what I needed fixed the issues and have a customer for life.

If I could give 10 stars I would. After going round and round with the dealer and many others for 45 days regarding an emission issue, J&L had my car up and running in one visit. I went from quotes of over $2K, to paying just $300. John has a customer for life!!!!!

I have never met a automotive repair shop with such high stadards and willing to walk the talk when it comes to service, honesty, and more than willing to stand behind their word and warranty. How refreshing to do business where customer service, satisfaction, and honesty are still high priority along with Excellent work.

J&L Auto is simply phenomenal. I thought I needed a new clutch on my car and told them so-- and was prepared to spend that money on my car. What they did was a simple repair-- much less expensive, yet fixed it thoroughly, completely passing up an opportunity to sell me something I didn't need. I've brought all my vehicles to them and I've had nothing but the best of service. Phenomenal.
