I used to love this place...
Nice folks until you are charged $500 - $600 more than their initial estimate, follow their suggestion to get quotes from other repair shops and then actually expect them to match the lower price as promised.

Dear Suwaneeriver, I encourage you to call John Buonamia at 770-622-9242,our shop. It is not,nor ever will be our practice to surprise a customer with an invoice over their estimate. In fact our computer program does not allow us to increase an estimate without documenting whom we spoke with and when. It is not our practice either to tell customers to “SHOP” prices and we will beat the price. We do claim to be your “DEALERSHIP” alternative on that we are comfortable in promising better value and service and beat their pricing. Our philosophy is to take care of our customers and their vehicles to maintain the safety and performance of their vehicles. We strive to maintain our customer base. John, the J in J&L Automotive Repairs & Service Inc. is a hands-on owner, a Master Technician with 35 years’ experience. We have an investment in diagnostic equipment, tools and computers to properly diagnose any vehicle that we work on. If an estimate is ever revised because of an unforeseeable issue we would never presume to do the work without the customer’s understanding and approval. As the L in J&L Automotive Repairs and Service Inc. I review every invoice. I know of no invoice that has been $500-$600 dollars over the estimate. Perhaps you meant to post this to some other J&L Auto there are several in the Atlanta area. If you are or were our customer than please call us and we will be happy to go over your invoice. We take pride in our work, service and customer satisfaction. We are not the kind of shop that tries to get you in the door, overbill and send you on your way.
