I had two items that needed fixing. My front steps had settled and moved away from the stoop. The second issue were two sets of cracks that had developed in the mortar of my bricks above my two door garage. Scott (the owner) and Chris came to my home on time and explained exactly the work they would perform and why. They kept the work site neat and tidy. Scott is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the engineering behind the issue and the remedy. I obtained estimates from 3 other companies and JSA was by far the cheapest of all. That did not mean the quality was inferior - far from it. JSA is also featured on 'Trust Dale'. They also cleaned up everything before they left. That included placing the mulch back in the flower beds and washing away all the dust. JSA is a rare breed in the construction world. I would highly recommend them.

This is a townhome where I had no lawn. It was his responsibility to call 811 before he dug. It was a main supply line he hit servicing the entire community. My terrace level was ruined in five minutes. Of course his installation helped the structure while ruining our lower level and he did offer a check with an attachment that it served as a full settlement. Funny what people will do when in a bind. We lost use, irreplaceable treasures, not to mention the money. I stand by my statement.

I wonder what the review would have been had the water line not been hit!! This homeowner hasn't mentioned anything about the quality of work that was performed nor how the repair is holding up. The day we did the job he stated how well the home was lifted and the floors were much better after the repair but fails to mention this in the review. And yes we do stand behind our work and always will. I know this repair is still good since I have done other jobs in this townhome community and drive by to see for myself.
After reading this I am once again shocked at lies/accusations that are stated about this repair job. Helical piers were never installed for this repair, it wasn't a 5" water pipe, and there was never a payoff offered. I also did not immediately point out responsibilities of my contract as stated. I was more focused on finding the water cut off that he didn't know where it was.
The details of this job were clearly stated in the contract. Since the homeowner stated I put helical piers in for this repair I can say they obviously did not read the contract over since JSA doesn't install these types of piers. After the fact, the homeowner mentioned to me this was the SECOND time this has happened and was worried his insurance would drop him.
It was the homeowners responsibly to have the water lines marked, as clearly stated in the contract and to at least inform me that this has happened before with another contractor.
To say that under oath I denied a payoff is completely untrue. I did however mention to help with the deductable even though it wasn't my responsibility. I offered this because I did feel really bad about this. They then began demanding money for these repairs so I felt it was best to let the insurance companies fight it out.
Simply put, JSA vastly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended. Scott (owner) is very easy to work with. I needed piers installed under a 20'x16' room off the side of my house that sits on a separate slab from the main structure, and had a 4" decline moving across the room. I had 4 companies quote the work, with JSA being the lowest price. I asked a lot of questions and ultimately decided JSA and one other vendor were the ones I felt most confident would do a good job, and at that point chose JSA because they were about 10% less expensive. Based on conversations with both Scott and the other companies I had quote the work, I knew it was unlikely we'd get the room completely level without cracking the foundation. In my mind best case going into the work was that we'd get it lifted about 2" and would then just level the floor on the inside. Scott his crew came out as scheduled and quickly got the piers installed and ready to go, and then the lifting began. Lifting in 1/4" to 1/2" increments, they were able to get the floor almost perfectly level, with no cracks in the foundation. No interior leveling necessary. They also did a nice job back-filling the dirt and leaving the area clean.

Scott is a true professional and an expert at what he does. I received two verbal quotes for literally 3-4 times what Scott charged me prior to finding Scott. He repaired my garage lintel and the brick face of my house within 24 hours of coming to my home for the first time. The work was done quickly, professionally, and in a manner that really showed his experience. Thanks for your hard work, Scott. I will not hesitate to refer you to my friends and family in the future.

Recently used JSA to do some concrete and masonry work at my home. Scott did a thorough inspection of the job and provided a very reasonable approach to correcting the problems. He was very flexible and laid out several options w/ various price points etc. Work was done on time and was very well executed. Scott took the time to do all the little things to make the job come out just right. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing any sort of foundation or masonry work done around their home.

We hired JSA to fix the steps and walkway at the front entrance of our house. I was picky, because that is the first impression people have when they enter the home. They also did some brickwork for us. I can truly say that they did quality work, and we are very pleased with the results.

These guys were wonderful. I consulted with an engineer first and was told I needed structural repairs. I called many contractors but Jsa was the only company to tell me I had a brick veneer problem instead of a foundation problem. They even consulted with my engineer and both concluded only my brick was shifting, not the foundation. Jsa did everything they said they would do and even more. Scott went out of his was to work with my engineer and I am so grateful for that. I referred them to my neighbor and they had the same experience. I would recommend Jsa to anyone who is looking to repair their home.
