Our dog has added so much joy to our lives and we feel very grateful to Jabula for helping us get to this point. He is a rescue with an unknown background. He's very sweet-natured, but not always docile. Having kids in the family and being around other kids so often, I really need a dog that is reliably gentle and tolerant. Taking our dog to Jabula was such a great decision. I tried several dog training classes (with a previous dog) and can say with confidence that Jabula is the best! It was recommended to us by several different friends and now I tell everyone I know "Go to Jabula!" Jabula classes are fun, so that you will want to keep coming, and Jabula classes are effective, so that you will see positive results immediately. Once you take a class at Jabula, or just get involved by setting up an appointment, you will build a relationship with the trainers and have a team of experienced experts that can help you with whatever dog issues or goals for training that you have. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and able to tailor their approach to fit your situation. They are flexible, professional, experienced, and just plain nice. The great thing is that your dog will love Jabula. My dog thinks that training is the most fun thing in the world. It isn't that difficult to have a well-behaved, happy, confident dog. Jabula makes it easy by focusing on things like "doorway manners" or "earning dinner" that have a big affect with little effort on your part.

Kate and Gill are the tops. We've taken both of our dogs there for Stage 1, and our Australian Shepherd/Lab mix to Stage 3. There's not a nicer, more responsive, professional dog trainer around. These girls eat, sleep, breathe, and speak dog, and will do wonders for you and your pet.

We came to Kate and Gill of Jabula in desperation. Our pair of 6 month old puppies were constantly fighting, and other trainers were saying we'd have to re-home one of them. Thanks to Jabula and one-on-one training, its more than a year later and all is well! Not only is everything going great, but my pups are now well behaved, off-leash trained dogs! Their fights are a thing of the past, and I'm complimented everywhere we go on how well behaved they are. One of my dogs has even taken home first place in an Obedience competition and 2nd place in Agility (also a class we took with Jabula) while the other took home 3rd place in Obedience. These ladies know their stuff, and have made a tremendous difference in our family. Thanks for everything, Jabula!!!

We took our pound puppy to a basic obedience class and found it was helpful. Gill was very nice & had shared good advice. The fact that our dog is still not as well behaved as we'd like is probably more our fault as we haven't been as consistent as needed.

I've been to many obedience classes over the years, and I can't say enough good things about Jabula. Kate is AMAZING! She truly understands the way dogs think, and is great at explaining the hows and whys to you. Class moves quickly so that neither you nor your dog get bored. From my experience, dogs get bored from repeating something over and over without mixing things up. The price is a little higher than other schools, but well worth the investment!

I never took any of their obedience classes but I did enroll my Rottweiler in their agility class to help w/ his fear of people. It was very helpful, I liked the trainer and my dog had a great time.

I went to Jabula from referrals and had an intial ineffective training. After speaking to owner Kate, she provided me with several options. I decided to let Jabula work with my guy and between Kate, Jyl and the rest of the staff, my Mr. was a completely different dog after only 4 or 5 visits. These guys listen, care and provided the best service to me ever. Completely exceeded expectations and it's incredibly clear that they understand dog psychology and many methods are willing to try different approaches depending on your dog's personality. That's true professionalism. Highly recommend. They saved my guy and now he's socialized again! Thanks Kate and Jill and all the rest. LB and Mr. T.

We have really enjoyed our Jabula obedience class, and see the results of everything Meredith has recommended. (She genuinely seems to love all dogs -- sees potential in everyone!) We are on the way to having a healthy "pack," and we owe it to Jabula. Lots of common sense, easy to enact and maintain advice. Highly recommended.

I had an unfortunate experience with Jabula. I originally took my dog for basic obedience training, which was an average experience. When I attempted to board my dog last Christmas, I had only dropped her off and headed out of town 30 minutes when Jabula called me and told me they would not be able to keep her due to aggressive behavior. I had to pick her back up and delay my Christmas trip (driving out of state) and last minute had to squeeze in at another kennel. The kennel she ended up staying at reported no problems with her when I returned from my vacation. Jabula suggested I use a shock collar on my dog, which was disheartening. They completely interrupted my plans and did nothing to help me rearrange kennel reservations. I do not recommend them and will never return.

Kate & Gill at Jabula are awesome. We have 3 dogs and the advice and training for each one has been adapted to their little quirks and backgrounds. The principles are solid and tested. I would highly recommend Jabula Dog Training to anyone.

Jabula marries effective techniques with postive attitudes. Not only will you and your pet develop a better working relationship, you'll both enjoy the process of doing so. Experienced with both "problem dogs" and those that seek basic obedience, Jabula affordably helps families cement the bond between themselves and the canine member of house. Rather than constnatly battling with your pet dog about which of you is "in charge" of the house, you learn the skills to firmly and lovingly take control of your "pack", eliminating the behaviors that seemed endless and drove you nuts before! Thanks, Jabula. We're so much happier now!!!!!

Ella & I enjoy attending class every week - Jabula's trainers are just incredible. Their classes offer great every-day tips about how to TEAM UP with your dog to get the behavior you want. I have already seen results in just a couple weeks.
