very rude. dropped my car off to get an estimate they told me and i let them fix it. then i went to pick it up and they had charged me 4 times that of what they had said over the phone. and the owner... himself, as i was trying to explain myself just kept repeating the price and told me that i was the one who was wrong. very rude. horrible customer service. spread the word they do not deserve yours or any of your friends business.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I have never in my life found a shop more honest and fair. I knew my brakes were going bad. They told me the front brakes were gone but the rear still had a few thousand miles left. I told them repair them all and they did it for half of what two other shops quoted me. This was 3 months ago, and my brakes work great, no surprises. This is the best auto shop ever

Jack and Sons was recommended to me by two friends when I moved to town, and my experiences with them (3 occasions) have all been positive. In the first instance, they correctly diagnosed an OBDII problem ("check engine light"). They did the most efficient and inexpensive repair necessary, explaining the problem and repair options. On two occasions I have taken prospective vehicles for (private-party) purchase to Jack and Sons for buyer's inspections. The first vehicle was a lemon, and Kenny outlined all the problems and told me not to buy the vehicle. The second vehicle was in good shape; Kenny still told me the little things he found wrong. He even gave me an estimate of what would be a good price for the vehicle so I had some bargaining power with the seller. The first inspection was free, and I paid only $40 for the second inspection (it would not have been very kind to take advantage of Kenny's time for multiple free inspections). $40 is cheap, considering most shops quoted me $90-$100 for a buyer's inspection when I called around. Also, the mechanics are all very polite and easy to talk to.

I always feel screwed when I go to a mechanic. Not at Jack & Sons. I got the same service that another mechanic quoted me for hundreds cheaper. They were friendly & the service was done right the first time for ALOT cheaper. I will never go to anyone else.
