The combo of Jake's ice cream and Little Shop of Stories is like a field trip for us. The ice cream's great, and the book store is fun and different. The setting near the square in Decatur makes it even better.

I was so glad to find out that there is still a great Jake's Ice Cream even though it requires a drive to Decatur. I don't have kids, but I am a kid at heart and I love the children's books at Little Shop. Great idea to combine the two. My favorite things are the ice cream and the ice cream. I think my favorite is Cookies and Milk and the Tropical Sunshine Sorbet.

This is a great ice cream shop with a wonderful family atmosphere. The kids love the ice cream and we can read a story while they eat. They can also play board games. Great family place!

Great little nook tucked away in downtown Decatur. Known for their homemade ice cream (a little pricey), but their sandwiches and soup are also great. Casual environment with lots of sofas -- there is also a separate room that you can use for kiddie birthday parties! Highly recommend.

This nice little place is known for their ice cream, but there is so much more. Order one of their great sandwiches, lounge on their sofas, a great place to meet others, and just to relax. Highly recommended and First rate quality.
