We purchased a home from Callas Homes in Gwinnett County. At first things appeared to be OK. But over a few years we had a sink hole under driveway. After the driveway collapsed come to find He buried tree stumps and construction trash under the driveway all the way up to the foundation of house. Needless to say this cost us tens of thousands to replace and excavate. According to Gwinnett County Planning Development & Building Permits, this is Illegal activity. The Callas Bros will do anything to cut cost giving you a low quality Home. Stay clear of these guys.

I purchased a home in 2004 from James Callas Builders and the home has been great for us and I am a specialty contractor myself. His superintendent was very responsive to any needs we had and we were presented a homeowners manuel at closing that had all the contractors names and numbers within the manuel for any future needs and fortunatly we did not need any. We did use the roofer again when hail damaged our roof and he was very curtious and quick to come out and did a great job on the entire roof and even upgraded the shigles for still a great savings over all other bids we received. Thanks for a quality home. Bruce Brown Magnolia Creek

I'm a realtor and purchased a house form James callas in Hamilton mill. Everybody complained for the houses he built and even one of his client so stress to dead. Plumbing and framing, mostly major problems and never fix the problems. If you were lucky you may get to fix one out twenty problems after you requested. Karen, she is mad cow when you ask to fix problems and she is major player in James Callas Home. For your own good, keep away from this builder. I'll post some pictures on internet whenever i have a chance.

James built my home in 2001 and our requirements were quite demanding. James and Mitch were very responsive to every change request. The standard level of trim offered by Callas Homes went over and above any other builder within the Hamilton Mill Community. Thanks Jimmy and Mitch!
