AMAZING EXPERIENCE
I had contacted about 3 different mortgage professionals about getting a mortgage for my first house.
I found that the mortgage was the most stressful part of the entire home buying process
UNTIL
I came in touch with James. As a first time home buyer he was great to explain everything to me, go page by page through every document and answered any and all of my questions without making me feel stupid for not knowing the answers.
He was great at keeping in touch and always returned calls and emails extremly quickly.
If you need a mortgage and dont want to deal with a shifty salesman type then USE JAMES HANCOCK for your mortgage needs.
I have already given friends and family his name and number and will always use James and Homebanc for all my future mortgage needs!

Extremely Pleased with my Banking Experience
I am a first time homeowner who dealt with Mr. James Hancock (my Mortgage Banker) for over 2 months. I started to buy a home and the inspection process showed that the home was a nightmare. I immediately found a new home and I would say that I worked with Mr. Hancock for at least 2 1/2 months with both homes. I closed on my home on July 31st and wow even after closing Mr. Hancock was providing information and answering questions as well as giving me tips to prevent identity theft. If I e-mailed him or called him on the weekend (which I expected him to reply during the next business day) he was calling me or replying right back to my phone call or e-mail. This man is so on top of it. Highly professional, personable and never annoyed with the multitude of questions or concerns I had. I have never dealt with someone that was so on top of it, like him. If you want a mortgage banker who is honest and concerned about your well-being, contact James Hancock! He is awesome. I am extremely satisfied with his service and business acumen. Thank you Mr. Hancock!

"Easy to do Business with"
My entire experience with HomeBanc as a first time home buyer was one of the most satisfying experiences I could hope for. James was not only very knowledgeable, but was always willing to take extra time to help me understand all of my options. As I am looking at my first home as an investment, James took the time to run through numerous mortgage plans with me; helping me to weigh the pros and cons of each. The process from start to finish was seamless because of the care that James took in his work and because of the experienced and knowledgeable team that supports him. I will most certainly recommend Mr. Hancock to anyone who is looking to purchase a new home as I will definitely take full advantage of his "Easy to do Business with" principles in the future.

Flexible and Reliable
James Hancock at Homebanc did an excellent job with my home purchase mortgage. Homebanc has an easy to use online system for applying and James was able to get me multiple Good Faith Estimates on a variety of loan programs. He worked with me to settle on the program that best suited my needs and financial situation. Homebanc is a direct lender so I had no worries about funds being available at closing. James was even at my closing to ensure that everything went smoothly. Big thumbs up!

Exceptional Service!
James provided exceptional service throughout the process. This was my first experience with a mortgage company, and his knowledge, professionalism and willingness to explain even small details for me made the process painless. I have already recommended him to family and friends, and heartily do so in this forum. I couldn't imagine using anyone else!
