Jason R. Schultz practices exclusively in the area of Plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death. Special areas of expertise include cases involving tractor trailers, motor carrier liability, medical negligence/malpractice and premises liability. As a necessary sub-specialty, traumatic brain injury is an important part of my practice. Understanding these specialized areas of law and successfully representing those that have suffered catastrophic and life altering damages caused by others negligence has been a rewarding experience, both personally and professionally.
Jason R. Schultz was named a Georgia Super Lawyer in 2007 and 2009. He has earned an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available for professional competence and ethics based upon a survey of members of the trial bar and judges. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and an active.. member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), American Association of Justice (AAJ) and the American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA). He has lectured numerous times at professional seminars including "Trucking Litigation and D.O.T. Regulations in Georgia", a seminar he put together and chaired in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
In March of 2015, I was hit head-on by a man who was high on meth and was pinned in my car by my dashboard. I suffered a partial amputation of my right leg which required several surgeries to repair and left pelvic fractures which caused nerve damage which led to foot drop (a gait abnormality). I spent 2 months inpatient and a total of 3 months bedbound. I would love to say that I'm recommending Jason because he was able to recover the $2,000,000 my case was estimated to be worth or even the $500,000 my health insurance paid for my care, but, unfortunately, this proved impossible. I am recommending Jason because, although he correctly predicted the disappointing outcome of this case early on, he respectfully honored our requests to investigate further and allowed us the time necessary to come to terms with the fact that we could never be completely restored financially because of the character of the man who had hit me. In a day and age in which we are all little more than account numbers in most of our business dealings, Jason never treated us as such and, in fact, returned every phone call and voicemail personally.

After incurring an injury while at work that required two knee surgeries, I performed a very thorough search for an attorney before I selected Jason R. Schultz. I based my decision on online reviews and finally speaking with him directly. It was the smartest choice I could make and it would be for you too. Jason and his office are on top of their game with the latest case law, 100% vested in your best interest and somehow manage to make your relationship feel personal. I trusted his abilities and his judgment when it came to my case and it paid off. He was able to secure a settlement almost double my expectation. I was always in the loop as to what was going on with my case and the timeline of events to expect. Make sure you follow his directions completely because it strengthens your case. Do your homework before you select an attorney, but don't make the mistake of not at least speaking to Jason.

I had the opportunity to work with Jason's firm on two occasions. He is always professional and works tirelessly to get your case resolved expeditiously. I love the fact that he is not scared to go to trial. The last case that he handled for me involved a car accident that involved 9 other college students, including my daughter. He never hesitated to take the case and it was resolved quickly. Although I haven't needed his services recently(thank goodness), I always recommend his firm to others who are in need of a great trial lawyer.

My case was dragging along very slowly when my initial attorney decided it was time he moved on, but I do thank his firm for finding and introducing me to Jason Schultz. Deep down after 5 years of paperwork back and forth with the federal government you can loose interest but from the day I met with Jason his demeanor renewed my spirit and I honestly felt my case had hope again. Jason may be far away for someone located in the northern counties of Metro Atlanta but it is worth the ride. I only had to do one visit with all my documents hence forth all other communications were through email and phone. He has a very pleasant paralegal - Michelle, who will contact you if he is unavailable at that moment. He is very detailed and instrumental in preparing you for trial, which for my case never was necessary. He has great negotiating skills and that is a plus when it comes to getting a settlement instead of going to trial. He allows you to make the final decision with all the clear facts presented for you to understand. He is very good when it comes to timeline and when to expect replies from the other party. Finally his mannerism shows his sincerity in providing client's with his honest expert opinion.

Last year my boyfriend and I were both hit by a car on our bicycles, and we found Jason to represent us through positive online reviews. Throughout the entire process Jason was immensely helpful and incredibly professional. He came out to us from Peachtree City to Atlanta for a consultation with us and kept us apprised of what was going on every step of the way. I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for a personal injury lawyer

My girlfriend and I were hit by a vehicle while we were stopped at a red light on our bicycles. We found Jason through his very positive online reviews, and we were not disappointed. He drove out to our place for the initial consultation. He was very understanding of our situation, and he immediately understood all of our concerns. During the course of litigation he was very helpful, and at the conclusion of our case he was able to get us near the maximum legal amount. Highly recommended.

Jason is the greatest attorney! Believe it or not, he actually personally answered my calls when I called him. He explained everything he was doing and what I should expect from the whole process. He handled everything very professionally. I feel that he went out of his way to get me the best settlement possible. Jason is someone that I would chose to be one of my friends. He made me feel very comfortable from the initial consult and throughout the whole process. He is an A++++++ attorney & I would use him again. I highly recommend him to everyone!

Jason took the time to drive all the way from his office near Peachtree City to my home in Gainesville, Ga immediately following my accident. He sat down at our kitchen table and explained everything about my case and my rights (as to an injury due to the negligence of a texting driver.) I could not ask for a better attorney. He answered all of my questions through email and returned my phone calls efficiently. He was very patient with me. I feel very fortunate to have found Jason.

Jason was referred to me through a friend, and at the time I had already chosen a lawyer who I was not satisfied with...I let him go and went straight to Jason, and I haven't looked back since. Since I made that move, Jason and his paralegal Michelle have looked after me like no other lawyer and his team. I have felt completely taken care of the whole way through. Jason has great communication and it is very much appreciated. My case was resolved within 7 months!! Thanks again Jason, to you and your team! You guys rock!!

Jason Schultz is definitely the attorney to call if you are involved in a Personal Injury situation. Through no fault of mine, a car accident left me with a shattered wrist that required surgery. My 21 year old son kept telling me to hire an attorney and I resisted at first. My son did some research on websites and found nothing but great reviews about Jason. When the calls from the insurance companies seemed never ending, I decided to give Jason a call. I met with Jason, as well as other attorneys, but I had such a great comfort level with Jason that I knew he was exactly the person I wanted representing me. Once he took over for me, the calls from the insurance companies stopped and I was able to focus on the important thing - working on my physical therapy and getting on with my life. If I had any questions or concerns, Jason or his paralegal, Michelle answered them immediately. Jason is a true professional and always had my best interests at heart. He didn't allow the insurance companies to drag things out and all was resolved within a year. I usually do not post reviews, but it was reviews that brought me to Jason. The only regret I have is that I waited 3 weeks to hire him. Working with Jason Schultz made a horrible situation bearable. I thank him from the bottom of my heart.

Recently, I was in a serious accident withstanding severe injuries and broken bones. Unfortunately, the at fault driver only had minimum coverage that wouldn't even begin to cover the medical bills, much the less compensate me for missed work and months of sitting at home recovering. Shortly after the incident, I began to search for legal assistance, but after reading several horror stories of victims not only having to deal with their injuries, property damage, and overall headache, but also being victimized by lawyers. I read about the Super Lawyers Group and decided to talk to Jason in an interview. During the interview, I explained the situation and Jason assured me that he could handle the situation and for me not to worry and only focus on my recovery. Jason did exactly that! He was able to handle all of the medical bills, advise / tend of the nasty phone calls and letters I received, and provide the diligence that was due to the situation. Jason was able to steer me clear of a lien that one of the physicians was trying to place upon me personally rather than bill the insurance. After things began to settle, Jason was able to dig deep and find coverage that was not apparent in the existing policy. The final result was Jason was able to get my medical bills paid off, and a settlement of 4 times what we originally anticipated, all while I was able to stay at home and get better.

Jason Schultz is an AMAZING lawyer, and choosing him is easily one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was in a bad car accident last year, and while friends and family told me the case could last for years, Jason had everything resolved and settled in 10 months. Both Jason and his paralegal, Michelle, were always speedy in their responses, respectful, kind, and best of all, incredibly knowledgeable; they ALWAYS made me feel at ease. If you ever find yourself needing a (GOOD) lawyer and don't know where to turn, look no further -- Jason's all you'll need.
