OK, but there are better options. Not a particuarly friendly place., 3/11/2007

We've been to Jellybeans a number of times over the years for birthday parties, but haven't taken part in a sports league. I haven't been overly impressed. The entire establishment lacks the... welcome and friendly tone of other establishments like DreamSports in Apex, the SoccerDome, or any YMCA camp. \r\rThe first thing you'll notice is the entrance has bars (thankfully they've been painted) separating visitors entering and leaving. The first sign reads ""No reentry,"" making you wonder if you're allowed back to your car if you forget something. In fact, it's interesting how many ""NO"" signs you'll see: 'No reentry', 'not responsible for stolen items', 'no food beyond this point.' Though I understand the need for these signs, they're dominant and I don't see the signs extolling sportsmanship, or asking kids to have fun like you do at other establishments.\r\rThe employees are also rather indifferent about you. The service isn't bad, they're just not overly friendly or helpful. They have a snack area and the game corner has skee ball, air hockey, and video games. The only video game I've played recently was a hunting style game and it cost $1.00! Bullwinkle's, just down the road, still has a majority of games for 25 cents.\r\rThis is predominantly a roller-skating rink. Although they rent roller-blades, it's a smaller inventory and they often run out. If you go, plan on roller-skating.\r\rThere's nothing terrible about Jellybeans, I just don't find it very friendly; especially when compared to comparable establishments.

Skating for the whole family.

Jellybeans offers skating for the whole family. My girls beg to go there, and I don't have any problems taking them. It has a nice family atmosphere...

Jellybeans Hockey

Jellybeans is a great place for families to share the excitement of playing inline hockey. Our boys have grown in spirit and body while learning team skills and respect for others. Jellybeans is the place for family fun.
