I called Jim Ellis dealership to inquire about a 2014 (used) Chevy Suburban I was interested in purchasing. I spoke to Maurice, a salesman and stated that I was driving an hour to the dealership with 4 young children, and an out of town relative, and was unwilling to come if the car was not in perfect condition. Maurice assured me that it was. I called to confirm I was on my way, and Maurice stated he would have the car pulled out for me to test drive and view. When I pulled into Jim Ellis, I called Maurice, and he directed me to his sales manager (Tom), who was expecting me. We all got out of the car, and located Tom. He did seem to be expecting me, but said nothing of the car. He went to get us all a bottled water. He then came back and said, the black suburban you came to view is actually sold. I asked him what day it sold, and he said 2 days prior to my first conversation with Maurice. Not only was the car gone prior to me driving an hour to view it, it was gone even prior to me making the call to inquire about it, and both Maurice and Tom knew it! I told Tom I was very angry,and that I had explained CLEARLY to Maurice that I had to drive an hour with 4 young children, and a guest and Tom said he understood, and then tried to get me to look at a different suburban that was more expensive, and not the color I came to view. It was obviously an underhanded ploy to get me in the door to look at other vehicles. I will never purchase from Jim Ellis. BUYERS BEWARE!

I purchased my MX5 from Jim Ellis so it was only natural that I had the body work done here after my accident. I was happy with the time between dropping off the suv until getting it back like brand new. Very good dealer.

actually its a 2004 mazda 3 that i want, I dont like the happy face on the new ones. I was told they could find the front end to make a new one look like an old one, apparently that is not the case. I almost bought a car, and it wasnt what i wanted. these guys are good salesmen. Ill be back soon.

"I have had service 3 or 4 times in 2012 and the experience could not have been better. One of the trips was at my expense due to a tire I destroyed and also required an alignment. The price for the tire and alignment was very fair. Some dealers have the reputation that everything is sky high for items not covered by warranty but that wasn't my experience at Jim Ellis." The online listings and salesman told me the 2010 Camaro SS had parking sensors. I test drove it and purchased the car. I should have double checked all of the options they stated it had but I didn't have much time before closing. A couple days later while backing into a parking spot I realized the parking sensors were not installed. Salesman, used car sales manager, and general manager refuse to install them saying the online listing had an error due to a third party typing up the description. If the option was accidentally added to the bulleted options then I would understand but this is clearly written by the seller in the seller's notes. "NEW ARRIVAL! PARKING SENSORS, BLUETOOTH, LEATHER SEATS, HEATED FRONT SEATS, PREMIUM SOUND SYSTEM!" I explained this to the used cars manager on Monday and he said he would call me after 24 hours. Wednesday came and no call back so I called 3-5 times Wednesday through Friday and left messages and emails. Not a single call back, message or email returned. I took time and gas on my day off to drive 20 miles to the dealership. Manager sits me down and says they can only offer me a small discount on installing parking sensors. Don't trust their descriptions or salesman's words.

"Callie and Ed both provided superior service. However, I would also like to mention that the people who wash, cleaned and detailed my car did a fantastic job! It is like I'm driving a brand new car again. It is great for me that Mazda offers a detailing service. I'm a busy person so to be able to take care of servicing my car and detailing at the sametime is very helpful. I also would like to add that Mazda providing me with a loaner while my car was being taken care of was tremendiously helpful as well. I'm a single female and my car is my only transpertation. Recently I brought my 2006 Mazda 6 to Jim Ellis Mazda for tires, an alignment, and an oil change. They informed me of a minor outstanding recall that required a flash of my car's computer which they performed. After the flash my car wasn't running quite right and I contacted their GM, Stacey, to discuss it with her. She asked me to return the car and gave me a loaner. After their excellent staff investigated the problem she explained to me why it happened. It really wasn't their fault but she personally ensured that my car was absolutely perfect when I picked it up. Now it's running like a Swiss watch, better than ever! This level of service is extremely rare in any industry nowadays and certainly more than I've come to expect when getting auto repairs. Great job Jim Ellis Mazda, I'll definitely be coming back for all of my car's maintenance needs! You can't go wrong with these folks!
