Don't trust the ADs or salesmen
The online listings and salesman told me the 2010 Camaro SS had parking sensors. I test drove it and purchased the car. I should have double checked all of the options they stated it had but I didn't have much time before closing. A couple days later while backing into a parking spot I realized the parking sensors were not installed. Salesman, used car sales manager, and general manager refuse to install them saying the online listing had an error due to a third party typing up the description.
If the option was accidentally added to the bulleted options then I would understand but this is clearly written by the seller in the seller's notes. "NEW ARRIVAL! PARKING SENSORS, BLUETOOTH, LEATHER SEATS, HEATED FRONT SEATS, PREMIUM SOUND SYSTEM!"
I explained this to the used cars manager on Monday and he said he would call me after 24 hours. Wednesday came and no call back so I called 3-5 times Wednesday through Friday and left messages and emails. Not a single call back, message or email returned.
I took time and gas on my day off to drive 20 miles to the dealership. Manager sits me down and says they can only offer me a small discount on installing parking sensors.
Don't trust their descriptions or salesman's words.
