Not only did they pay for my rental after my... insurance coverage lapsed, they also thoroughly cleaned and detailed my car. They also gave me moment-by-moment updates on the status of my car, and returned my rental car to Enterprise after I picked up my vehicle. My car hadn't looked that clean since the day I bought it. On July 8 my eight month old car was stolen and recovered and the perps removed the exhaust system. I'd bought the car at Jim Ellis Audi (major hassle in and of itself because they wouldn't accept a check drawn off a brokerage account) so that's where I took it. I had a very small ding in the fender that wasn't caused during the theft but they talked me into letting them file a supplemental claim to fix it. After that they filed two more supplementals without approval from me to "fix" the bumper and the headlight assembly (remember this is an eight month old car). On August 22, SIX AND A HALF WEEKS LATER, I got my car back. There response to complaints about the delays was "What's the problem, we gave you a loaner". The problem is that it's just plain embarrassing to have to explain to friends and neighbors that your nearly new car is being held hostage by the dealer.
I dropped my car off on a Monday after bringing it in for an estimate the prior week. It was supposed to take 4 days. I stressed the urgency of this timeline because I was 36 wks pregnant at the time. I called George a week after dropping it off to find out the status. I was informed that they found add'l damage and were waiting to hear back from the insurance company before proceeding(no one bothered to call me and it was just sitting there with no follow up happening with the ins company). I called back days later, the status was the same. I finally contacted Larry, who I'd worked with before, to try to get some resolution since it was urgent that I get my car back. Finally Thurs(11 days after dropping it off), they said they had approval. I called George the following week for an update, left voicemails and never heard back. I finally got ahold of him Thurs, and he said it could be ready that day, if not Friday. Friday came and went and the car was still not ready. Finally, Tuesday(23 days after dropping it off for a minor accident), I got an email saying it was ready. At 39.5wks pregnant, I picked it up, paid & left. I then checked my emails when I got home to find out they overbilled me by close to $700 vs the last document I had from them, which is all I was reimbursed by the insurance company for. I am still waiting to get this resolved. The quality is great on the car repair, but unfortunately I will never bring my car back there for repairs or recommend them.
Jim Ellis Collision Center went above and beyond to make sure my repairs exceeded my expectations. They stayed in constant communication to update me on the status of my repairs and were very timely. Excellent job to Dave and the team.
After we lost that tire in our crash against the dear wow never tough but looks and runs amazing! Im sending my dad with his problem happy new year!
good experience, got the car fixed with no real issues. The price was a little too high in my mind, but the work got done
The most dishonest, customer service lacking outfit I have EVER dealt with. My car is older- 2003 and I was rear ended. The person who caused the accident had low budget insurance which was difficult to deal with. Brent assured me that my car would be repaired with all new parts and that I would be called every few days with an update about my car. The initial estimate was that it would take 2 weeks. Two and 1/2 weeks later, no call. I called and was able to find out that they had no idea when my car would be ready. When it was finally returned a month later, I was surprised to see that used parts were listed on my invoice. These parts were placed on my car without my prior consent or knowledge. I was told that they would do what they could to make it better, but they were not going to replace the part. BEWARE OF JIM ELLIS DEALERSHIPS!!! This is the second awful experience I have had with them (the last one was with the service department). I should have known better. Now my job is to educate everyone out there about my experience.
Manager Marc Sizemore and his son Josh are running a tight outfit here - they know how to get your baby back in like-new condition after the worst has happened. Called with updates, kept me in the loop, worked with insurance... and oh yeah - my car was GORGEOUS when I picked her up. THANK YOU Jim Ellis! I've bought my last two cars from this group and have never regreted it.
My brand new car looks new again! I got rear ended before I even had the tags on it. They handled everything - and I got a beautiful new car again with zero headaches on my part. The staff kept me informed on progress the whole way through. I'll never go anyplace else.
