If I could give a zero I would. My experience started out OK. Joe showed up for our Monday appointment on time. After looking at the broken gas burners, he said he had to do some research about our issue and told me he would call that night or the next day. Never happened. About a week later, he called to say the parts were in. He ordered the parts without my knowledge and unaware of costs involved. I let it go. I'm so tired of chasing people down to do the work they said they would do. We made an appointment for the next Monday at 1:00. The time came and went without a word. On Tuesday morning he text "Tuesday or Wednesday". That's all the text said. No apology for not showing up or calling about appointment. I told him I had appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday and ask if we could make appointment for Thursday at 1:00. At 1:30 in that Thursday, my husband called to ask if he was coming and Joe answered the phone. He said an emergency had come up. I had text him on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning to confirm he was coming and he never answered. I know I had correct number. I'm glad others using Joe prior to me had good experiences but I will never use him again. He wasted a lot of time and energy and I'm back at square one.

I called Joe after checking his reviews and not hearing back from Appliance Dr. Joe answered the phone and tried to walk me through a fix for my dishwasher over the phone. After trying all I had Joe come out promptly and within minutes diagnosed the problem and ordered the correct part. Joe is honest, trustworthy, and I will definitely use him in the future too. Besides I am a person who loves good customer service and wont tolerate poor service.. Thanks Joe!

Maybe we got lucky because we live near him but, when our basement refrigerator died on a Sunday, we thought we'd lose most of the food in it. Joe made a service call ON SUNDAY, which we did not expect. First, he tried to help us resolve the issue without him (and without cost) - when that failed, he came quickly, had the required parts, and got us up and running again in no time. Saved us buying a new refrigerator. Cost was well within expected range (we don't often call service people, so I don't really know what 'expected' was, but I was happy to pay him what he asked for the quick service and accurate fix).
