I only went to Joe's once. I love boiled crabs, and theirs were delicious. They have a place outside, for the kids to play in the sand, if Mom is so inclined. The only problem I had, (and it's probably because of my age,) was that halfway through our meal, one of the waiters got on top of the table next to us, and was dancing to the loud music that was piped into the room. He was trying to entertain the kids in the room I guess, and was doing a good job, but I couldn't help but wonder, if he had been on our table earlier, and wondered if he might have dukey on his boots.

Joe's offers some of the best food combinations with a huge selection of mixed drinks. While the pricing is high my experience their was plesant, the watitress stayed attentive and available.
Joe's crab shack used to have a good menu with a nice choice of local favorites like etoufee on catfish and such. They changed owners recently and now just have the standard fair. The food is not bad but not what I was used to getting. I had a steak last time and it was pretty good butjust not what I really wanted.
i came here for my fiance's birthday along with some friends and we absolutely fell in love with this place. we were not waiting very long before being seated and the service we were supplied with was very professional. the sea side setting def impressed alot of us and most importantly my fiance had a blast (and ordered more food to go). great food great entertainment !!!!!
I've only heard of 1 other person that actually like the rest of the food here. I would only go here to get the crab, everything else is "low grade".
