Drywall contractors in general, seem to be expensive; especially for smaller jobs. John does an average job, but on my job, he missed several places that were not sanded smooth. If you want the header screws finished, forget it (unless you are paying for a smooth ceilng along with the walls). I was also aggrivated that he could never give me a price quote on the spot--it's not like it's some huge deal to quote a job by the sq. ft. or number of boards---very frustrating. Most drywall contractors in this area hire "hangers" to do the labor intensive job of installing the drywall. They usually get paid $6.00 a board (4 X 12). The hangers will only do large jobs that encompass several rooms. If a drywall contractor is unable to get a hanger to come in for a small job, he then has to do the hanging and finishing. You will not get that from this company. My advice, look somewhere else like North Metro Drywall.
