Dr. Hansen is absolutely the best pediatric dentist I have found in the country. We have moved around a lot and seen a lot of pediatric dentists, and he is the best. The office is so fun, and everyone is so nice. He does great work, whether it is a cleaning or a filling with oral sedation. I recommend him 100%.

I brought my 2.5 yr old daughter here. We always go early so she has time to play. She loves the toys, the great layout of the whole city and of course the googdies she recieved (tooth brush, healthy lollipop, bracelet). The dentist was friendly, on time and helpful (with his advice we stopped the paci that day). My daughter felt at ease and comfortable with the dentist. He had her sit on my lap and lie back into his lap so she felt more at ease. I also started seeing the dentist there that sees adults. Again it was helpful to have the toys and animals to entertain my daughter while I was getting my teeth cleaned. For a little while she even laid on my stomach to watch the cartoon on the tv up on the ceiling. My only reason for not giving the service 5 stars is because I felt the girl who did my x-rays was less than friendly. She wasn't rude, just not exactly the upbeat, friendly service industry types that work there otherwise. We are cash patients so we don't work with the billing so much but they did give my daughter her 1st appt free and discounted mine.

After having been with Dr. Hanson and PDT since 6 months after the practice opened, I was forced to change my insurance plan due to financial reasons and had to find another dentist on my plan. I already knew that PDT was the absolute best place in town, but it was reconfirmed after my recent visit to another dental practice. We did not receive nearly the attention and kindness given to us at PDT (nevermind the 1.5 hour appointment for a simple cleaning). We hope that our financial situation will soon change so that my daughter can come back! We miss PDT!

For the first time since I was a child, I find myself going to the dentist regularly. The atmosphere is very soothing and the staff are experts at what they do. My children see Dr. Hansen for basic care, my husband and I see Dr. S for adult care. After taking my daughter for an ortho evaluation, I was so comfortable with Dr. Crosby, we BOTH have braces. I highly recommend this practice, we all love it!

I recently found out I had to have a tooh pulled due to my root fracturing. Dr.Schwendiman (Dental Town's Adult Dentist) did an amazing job of making this experience very comfortable. I did not feel the anesthesia at all and the whole procedure took only a few minutes and everything is healing very well. Dr.Schwendiman called to check on my progress later that evening. I believe this practice has patient comfort and needs as their priority.

This practice is far more concerned with selling you on expensive orthodontic procedures than keeping your kids teeth healthy. They told us our son needed spacers to help make room for a permanent molar that was coming in. He initially used a rubber band spacer that fell out (so we thought) after less than 24 hours. When we went back to have it replaced, the dentist looked at my son's teeth and says, "Great progress." What?? After going through this three times, the nurse was trying to put in another band, only to have it "get lost" in my son's mouth. After an X-ray revealed it had fallen into a huge cavity in a tooth, they decided we had to have the more expensive metal spacer put in. Not one word or expression of concern over the giant cavity. About the same time, my son was due for his cleaning. They didn't mention it once. They did ask if we wanted to schedule an appt for braces, even though my son still has half of his baby teeth. We're now seeing another dentist and a new x-ray revealed there are actually 3 rubber bands inside his tooth, and I'm now paying to have these rotten baby teeth extracted. Thanks for nothing Pediatric Dental Town.

After seeing many pediatric dentists in several states I am thrilled with Dr. Hansen. My son had a very bad experience with another dentist and Dr Hansen and his friendly office were very understanding and patient with my son to help him overcome his fears and allow his dental work to be done. I also feel like they don't push extra treatments and costs at me that my children don't need, I know they care about my kids teeth and my costs. I recommend their office to everyone!

My daughter was a patient (4 yrs old) and loved going in and playing in the office while waiting and the overall environment of the office made going to the dentist easier. I thought they were very expensive and that is my mistake for not looking around more before going there. They are almost double the price of what I am paying now. ( we switched to a different dentist office) after a minor incident happened last year. Apparently, I made an appt 6 months in advance and received a phone call while at work to remind me of the appt THE SAME DAY AS THE APPOINMENT! I told the person calling that I was at work, my daughter at school, and I obviously forgot about the appt and when I told them this...they said it would be a charge of $50 if I didn't bring her in that day. That is a bit much! People honestly forget and I was very honest with them. In this economy, $50 is a lot for a missed appointment you didn't realize you had.

Absolutely the best dentist experience you can even imagine. The staff is wonderful the office is so great for kids, really Dr. Hansen and his staff should give lessons on how to run a medical office for children! The dR. is wonderful, I have been for regular checkups and in an emergency and I can tell you that if I moved away I would come back here to take my kids to this Dr. Hansen!

Dr. Hansen really knows how to make our four year old comfortable while filling a cavity and doing other dental work. His staff is amazing. I will keep coming to him, not just because of the fun environment which my children love, but because Dr. Hansen is a great dentist and is terrific with all of our 3 children's dental needs. Thanks Dr. Hansen! Sincerely a very happy customer!

This place is expensive and not worth your money. Sure it looks nice and people are nice as everywhere else. The dentist will want to do things that most likely your child does not need. My advice is to get a second opinion. The dentist is not a specialist and he cannot tell a difference between a simply gum irritation and gum infection. I took my child to a dentist with more experience and common sense.

We were heartbroken to see such a negative response and are grateful for our many loyal patients who have given us more outstanding ratings than any other Pediatric Dental office in the area. This patient was not a patient of record when they came for an emergency visit to our office with signs and symptoms indicative of a tooth abscess. We hope this little emergency was merely a "gum irritation" despite the many signs and symptoms, for an untreated dental abscess can end up with severe pain, swelling, and even hospitalization. We welcome and encourage parents to seek a second opinion for the best care of their children. We have taken great efforts to keep our fees within the average for the area and still maintain a high quality of care for our patients. Our conservative and preventive approach to dentistry is invaluable. Dr. Hansen not only received a specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina, but remains one of the few Board Certified Pediatric Dentists in the area. Dr Hansen continues to add upon his academic excellence through outstanding continuing education courses.
We have had the best experience with Dr. Hansen and his staff. They're very courteous, warm & caring. My children love it there and the office is very kid-friendly! The office staff is wonderful!
