I have spent my career in customer service, and I am not easy to please. However, the staff at Johns Creek Vet does and excellent job. First the clinic smells more like a hotel than an animal hospital. I was greeted with friendly faces and offered a fancy coffee right off the bat. My Pappilion, Daisy, was seen for skin allergies. Dr Hargett was very kind to her and his treatment worked quite quickly. Thank you Johns Creek Vet- I will return!

We have been going to JCVC for 18 yrs. The DRS and STAFF are very professional, but more importantly, very caring. Our black lab, Clydie, died of the pet food recall in 2007 and when my husband & I took her to the vet, they ALL cried with us, as they had cared for her for 12 yrs. They left us in a treatment room alone with her to say our goodbyes. They couldn't have been more caring. Now we have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever(Chessie Clare) and a long coat Chihuahua(Sergio). They actually love going there and when we board them, they are happy to go. Never any issues. Love Dr. Kim as well! Lee Ann Webster

Thank you so much for your kind words on Kudzu. We love all your babies.
Your words and your loyalty solidify that all our genuine efforts are positively affecting our growing JCVC family.
Thank you so much! Dr Hargett and Dr Lorie really are dedicated to their profession. It's ultimately clients and patients like you that make it all worth the effort.
Johns Creek Veterinary Clinic has been just that to our pets. With four cats and a dog , we have had many visits over the last six years. Just as I have come to know the vets and staff by name, they have come to know our pets by name and personality. Medically, our pets could not be in better hands. We have dealt with a few serious issues over the years and the doctors thoroughness and expertise have seen us through. With four cats, one or two have made their way through multiple 'lives' with the help of the Dr.s' Hargett and Dr.Kim. The doctors and staff are conscientious about wellness and preventative care. Follow up calls are received after every visit whether to check on how well a pet is handling medication or a vaccine. Finally, I appreciate the manner in which the doctors and staff deal with the pets. They are kind, gentle and really enjoy their work caring for our pets. When making a decision about the care of my pets, I have always been given straight-forward answers and options that have allowed me to make the best decision possible. I value their professionalism and their genuine care of our entire family-two legs or four.

Mrs Schlarb...your the best! Clients and patients like you make this job so rewarding. We all thank you for your kind words. Hope this coming year is awesome for you and your family!!
Dr. Chad and his wife are two fine vets that always go the extra mile to make sure my dog is treated with love and respect. The staff are also great calling to check up several times a month. They also helped us with the greiving of our departed dog and help with the cremation.

Thank you sooo much! We appreciate your kind words. We are glad our dedication shows.
We just returned from a week at the beach. Our miniature schnauzer Bella had some beach stickers stuck to her fur which was real close to her skin! Marla there grimmer did a great job of cutting them out and not losing Bella's schnauzer hair cut. Great vet and grommet services. Which is why I drive past two other vets to get to them Alan Kaminsky

Great Vet Clinic - the front office is very cordial and on top of it - really like the doctors, too - kind and caring. I feel my pets are getting great care there and are well taken care of - would definitely recommend to all pet lovers!

If you value a clinic that ACTUALLY cares for your pet, DO NOT take your pet here. I've taken my cat here for almost a year, and a month ago my mother got into a car accident in their parking lot. The clinic and my mother disagreed about damage done to their property, but the situation was handled by their insurances. I spoke to Dr. Hargett requesting medical records to change vets which he replied asking why we wanted to leave. I briefly mentioned being uncomfortable about the disagreement before he raised his voice. He repeatedly exclaimed that my mother was wrong, which I explained I couldnít judge who was right because I was not at the accident. He spat that he would not release the records until he spoke to my mother because the records were under her name. My mother then reminded me that the records were in my name. I called back and asked the receptionist whose name the records were under and was told my name! Dr. Hargett called me back later to continue haranguing me about my mother being wrong and finally refused to release the records and hung up on me. I wrote a request and mailed it as certified mail, but was ignored. I was finally able to have a different veterinary clinic retrieve the records, but only after being refused the first time. I have a special needs cat that needs frequent prescription refills, but this man chose to put my catís heath at risk to prove himself right. Again, DO NOT bring your pet here!

The reality of the situation is that we have provided wonderful care to their pet and these owners for almost a year. When the accident occurred, all but one of our staff members went outside to see if client & pet were alright. Our last concern was for our property. The client opened the car door and the cat proceeded to run into the woods. Our staff (4 people) went running and chasing after their pet and finally caught him, bringing him into the clinic and getting him settled & cared for. We over and over again attempted to make sure that client was ok and reassured her that if she needed anything that we would do what we could. Unfortunately, the accident and the dispute about damages, turned our professional relationship sour. This particular incident does not reflect the quality of care and professionalism we strive for on a daily basis here at Johns Creek Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Hargett and the rest of the staff at Johns Creek Veterinary Clinic are an exceptional group, dedicated to caring, affordable care for our cherished pets. Our family recently adopted a second cat after spending weeks visiting shelters, looking for the perfect fit for my 11 year old son. Once we finally made the choice, we found that JCVC had been providing care for the chosen kitty, just as they have cared for our pets for years. Dr. Hargett was generous with his time, speaking with my son at length about the responsibilities of pet ownership and the needs of this particular cat. What a positive experience!

When I picked up my beautiful Goldendoodle puppy from getting his first haircut, I literally thought they brought out someone elseís dog. It took me a few seconds to realize that this was my puppy although he bore no resemblance to himself. I only wanted a trim around his face, ears, and feet. Instead his head was now tiny and shaved with the rest of his body full. Although I take some responsibility for maybe not explaining what I was looking for adequately, I relied on the groomerís expertise to know what a Goldendoodle should look like and ask enough questions to ensure she understood what we wanted and question if we really wanted a small-looking head with a fluffy body. We would have never have agreed to that. She never asked how long we wanted his face to be. What was equally upsetting was how the groomer, Marla, reacted to my new puppy mom meltdown. After I admitted (first thing) that this was the first time getting my puppy groomed, she should have treated me with some TLC, asked me what she could have done differently, offered to make it better, and provide the next grooming freeónot that I would ever return, of course. Instead she was unfriendly, apathetic, rude and defensive. It was such a horrible experience. She turned my doodle into a poodle! It will take months for my puppy to grow his once beautiful coat back. : (

I personally spoke with Mrs Thomas and once we were both on the same page about the specifics of grooming and the understanding that grooming a golden-doodle or any kind of doodle, which does not have a specific type of look, since sometimes these breeds have more golden than doodle or vice versa, we both came to a mutual understanding. I clarified that it is necessary to be specific about the type of look we are going for, even bring a picture, plus knowing that changes in the style may vary depending on the individual pets coat. Thank you Mrs Thomas for your understanding - Beatriz (hosp admin)
