When I brought my car to this Just Brakes originally to double check another mechanic's diagnosis, they confirmed the work to be done and were a better price, so they got the job. When my brakes started to squeak a year later, I took it back to them for their free brake inspection. After spouting off about unbalanced hydraulics and overheated brake pads, Kris quoted me almost $600 to fix the front calipers and back drums. I took it to my regular mechanic for a second opinion. Their diagnosis: cheap pads and brake dust. I don't know what the company norm is, since this is the only Just Brakes store I've dealt with. This store may be fine for "everyday" maintenance, but get a second opinion if they try to upsell you.

NEVER use your debit nor credit card at this establishment! They swiped my card 4 times without my knowledge and totally screwed my account up and the only thing they will offer is say that they only show 1 swipe on their end. Save yourself the trouble and major headache and go somewhere else to get your car serviced

I took my car here for a standard brake job.. Then the rotors need replacing, and the calipers. I did the rotors but not the calipers, thank God because another GREAT shop down the street told me I wouldn't need those until at leas 200,000 miles. He was rude and condescending to me saying I didn't think about repairs when my daddy bought me the car when in fact the car is mine and I paid for it. None of his business and a very rude comment to make to me just because I am a young woman. Will never go back, will never recommend, will bad mouth them all over town. Never had someone talk to me like that when I was the customer. Absolutely rediculous.

Came in to have my brakes looked at after my "German Mechanic" stated that I would need brakes in a few months....after Just Brakes inspected my car they found that the brakes were perfect and have at least a years worth of driving left on them! Wow....I came in ready to spend money and they actually SAVED me money! Great job John and Saul!

I went to replace my 4 breaks for $99. After that my break squeeks all the time. At the time they replaced my break, they said my axle has to be replaced otherwise the car will break down any time and it can be very dangerous. So I replaced it. Now less than one year later, my transmission refused to work. I took it to another shop and they found this improperly placed axle which made my tranmission oil to leak. Now I have to replace the transmission that would cost me about $2000. I don't know what I should do about my car

I took my car in for new brake pads a few months ago. They told me I needed new rotors etc ($450), I said I'd think about it. Recently my brakes started making noises, thinking it was time for the brake work I didn't do earlier, I took it in to a shop a friend recommended. They said that my brakes were in like-new condition, but the sound I was hearing was from the substandard materials Just Brakes uses in their brake pads. If I had done all the extra (unnecessary) work on the car, they would have given me better quality brake pads. There's nothing exactly wrong with the pads, they'll work fine, but they'll make a lot of noise. Sounds like a good way to get a lot of repeat business at Just Brakes. Give people noisy brakes and they'll think (like I did) that the brakes need the extra work Just Brakes suggested.

Related to "Review82" and had a similar experience. I took my car in for a standard brake job. When I left the brakes were just as noisy and didn't feel like they were working any better. Just Brakes said it was normal and to keep driving them. Eventually took my car to Pep Boys to inspect and they said the brake job was completely botched and I needed it completely redone. (after pep boys did the brakes they worked like a champ!). Stay away!

I went here for a brake job with a $10.00 off coupon. They told me that I needed new rotors, etc. Did not resurface any of my rotors because of this, and when I told the guy no, he turned around and told the tech on my car "slap job on this one". Went to dealer for oil change 10 min later, and had them check the brakes. All fine, rotors fine. What a terrible business.

I wish I had checked Kudzu before taking my car to JustBrakes. I only wanted to change brake pads but they ended charging me $500.00 for additional services (new rotor etc). I was a bit concerned but due to the lack of time, I went ahead. Not that my car has had any problems since (which is why I gave 3 stars), but I think I paid for services that were not necessary. Advice: Just get a second opinion.

I have been back and forth to Just Brakes. It ended up costing me over $700 for all of the work to be done. When I went back - and the supposedly "life time guarantee" was in effect - I still owed money after a repair (They said the coverage is "prorated"). My brakes still grind. The manager said that "grinding is normal after a brake job". This shop is the absolute worst. They have a permanent sign up seeking help: Apparently no-one will work there long term and the staff there isn't experienced. The quotes seem to be inflated. Next time I'll go to another shop. Avoid this one or be prepared to pay at least $600 for "needed repairs" and even after getting the repairs they will be done incorrectly.

They tried to convince me that I needed new rotors, but I was certain that wasn't the case. As a woman, I felt that they were taking unnecessary advantage of what they perceived was a lack of brake knowledge. However, I could tell by looking at the rotors that they were fine. I left and took the car to another brake shop, they confirmed that the rotors were fine and absolutely did not need to be replaced.
