Just Brakes

Just wanted a $99 brake job. They told us it would cost $730 to fix other things. When we said no way, they kept our car and delayed the brake job all day, leaving me, MY CHILDREN, and my husband stranded. DO NOT GO HERE FOR REPAIRS!

I went to replace my 4 breaks for $99. After that my break squeeks all the time. At the time they replaced my break, they said my axle has to be replaced otherwise the car will break down any time and it can be very dangerous. So I replaced it. Now less than one year later, my transmission refused to work. I took it to another shop and they found this improperly placed axle which made my tranmission oil to leak. Now I have to replace the transmission that would cost me about $2000. I don't know what I should do about my car.

I will try to keep this short. I went in for the $99 deal to get my front brake pads replaced, ended up paying about 250 for "organic" pads. My back brakes were perfect with 70% wear left when I went in, but came out making loud popping sounds and bad brake pads that had to be replaced within a week. Now, 8 months after I had my front brake pads replaced at Just Brakes, they have never stopped squeeking, and I have to have them replaced again. The salesmen are nice to your face, but then mess up your car and try to stick you with unnecessary repairs. Do not go here, go to Meineke down the street, they are cheaper and more reliable.

I went to this shop last year and wanted to charge over $300 for brakes but the ad says $99 for all 4 if your brakes or not scrubbing/metal on metal-i do not recommend this place or any of thier locations to anyone

I know cars and when I went in to have them look at my brakes, they told me some things I knew jsut wern't true.Perhaps they just don't know about older foreign car repair but I went elsewhere.
