My husband and I became Just Fitness members over 4 years ago and have been very pleased with the equipment, cleanliness, upgrades (new sauna), new hours (open 24 hours) and new aerobic classes (Over 9 different classes). We're so impressed by the facility that we recently enrolled our daughter. She was given a courtesy trainer session to help her properly use the equipment and loves the Zumba classes with her friends. The Sales Manager, Eric Sherrod went out of his way to make certain that our family was well taken care of and pleased with the membership. The Manager, Phillip Edwards also took time to answer our many questions and ensured that we were satisfied with the overall service. This is not a high pressure gym and the membership price is very reasonable for the membership you're receiving. There are lots of treadmills and ellipticals available in the gym area. They also have a large TV room with many more stationary machines. They're even adding a childcare area in the Fall of 2013. I highly recommend Just Fitness 4U if you're looking for a great place to "Just" work out at a reasonable price.

After being a member here for six months, I thought about putting a review on here. I have read the other reviews and feel they are extreme. Yes, the staff is motivated by money, I am sure that is how they afford to feed their families. However, they did choose to work at a gym -a place that encourages positive activities. The equipment is nice and kept up, the space is adequate for the traffic and the atmosphere is enviting. If you want to pay $10 / month for a gym, this is the place!

Great equipment, newer and more comprehensive than the Gold's down the street or the LA Fitness up the street. HOWEVER, their "service" and staff make used-car salesmen seem like ministers. Obviously given the low price, they need as many sign-ups as possible and their misleading, bait-n-switch, and in one instance outright false sales promos reflect that. You can read for yourself about NATIONAL FITNESS in Utah and other horror stories about Just Fitness 4u on the web. My favorite is the fake "customer reviews" in Google...that are on the same date and time from the same IP address. The good news is that once you join, you really don't need "service". BOTTOMLINE: Join it on the cheap before they go out of business from customer backlash though the owner is probably seeking to sell out at a profit before that happens.

I joined this gym in October, 2010. I also purchased an $1800.00 personal fitness package. The personal trainer manager, Matt Namer is extremely professional. My first trainer quit the company much to my dismay. Matt quickly set me up with an new trainer (Dan) who is awesome to work with. All of the employees are polite, courteous and professional. The gym, showers, restrooms, etc. are always neat and clean. I have been a member of several gyms and had numerous trainers over the years. No other gym or trainer has come close to the quality of equipment and trianing I get at JustFitness4U on Holcomb Bridge Rd., Alpharetta. It is worth every dime I spent! mwalker

I signed up in the summer and wanted a membership for 6 months. I was told it was $10 a month no questions or hidden fees. I look at my credit card statement and it has a $29.99 maintenance fee on top of the $10. Then I try and cancel and they say they cancelled it, come to find that I still get the charges on my account. I had to walk in with my attorney just to get them to get the point that I did not want to join and had to threaten with a class-action suit. Until they have new management that aren't steroid monsters but actual down to earth people this gym will continue to be a scam. Nice/clean facilities and ample weights.

Be very careful when you sign a contract. My gym, Golds, was bought out by Just Fitness last spring. (Alpharetta location) I decided to stay on and signed up for personal training. I was told my 6 months would cost $800 total (1 30 min session a week). I was charged over $1,000 in 3 months. When I quit I got charged again for the base membership fee. I disputed the charge and they sent me to a collection agency. I had to pay another months of membership and a fee for disputing the charge!

My gym was bought out by Just Fitness as well. I much preferred the old gym, and do no plan to continue with JF after my contract expires. There was NO communication with existing members about the take-over (we found out when the signs changed), many gym closures for renovations (3 days a week closed, every other week!), and male construction workers casually strolling into the women's locker rooms while occupied. The staff response was to this concern was, "well, they don't understand much English." Not an acceptable response. When my contract expires (entered into with the OLD gym), I will not be returning.

My Gold's Gym was bought out in Alpharetta. I was very excited about the upgrades. We got new cardio equipment with individual TV. But they have channels that only appeal to super jock - - 3 ESPNs, TruTV (mostly arrest shows), all news channels and ABC. They have a token Fine Living channel whose only new show is a drunk who travels the world drinking. Those of us not into sports or war news have no where to go. Please what about Travel channel, HGTV, TNT, NatGeo or the hundred other channels available! They have limited classes and those may go away since they are licensed to Gold's. Just Fitness aims its amenities to the male jock, who is coming to the gym anyway. What about some amenities aimed at the reluctant work out person. We need more help being there. Just Fitness is aiming at the wrong group!

BUYER BEWARE. This is a nice facility, Rates are fair. Just don't try to quit. You will be billed months after you surrender your resignation. THEY REQUIRE DIRECT BILLING INFO TO ALLOW YOU TO JOIN THEN REFUSE TO STOP BILLING WHEN YOU LEAVE. They know it costs more to sue than the amount they steal. BUYER BEWARE
