Had a leak over my laundry room. Came out same day to repair leak. Very knowledgeable and professional. Gave me a good price for my repair. Have not had any more leaking.

They came out promptly the same day I called. The wind had blown off six small shingles off of a ridge over my garage. They were very nice and went on the roof to check it. They found three of the old shingles and had to use three from their truck. Then he quoted me $325 for the repair. Since it was likely going to rain the next day, I felt like they had me over a barrel, so I agreed. I just think for one guy to get on the roof for 20 minutes and charge that much is a real ripoff.

So I wrote this review.

A few days later, the owner of KTM, Tim McLoughlin, called me concerned about my problem. He said he thought the price was a little high even though roofing has a lot of insurance expense. I told him it was okay and it was enough to know he was concerned enough to call me, but he insisted on sending me a $100 refund. He didn't have to do that, so I rate them as a good company. I will call them again when I need them.

It was time for a new roof so I decided to investigate the product manufactured by the Tapco Group. Their Inspire Synthetic Slate line was interesting so I contacted the Tapco rep here in Atlanta as to the availability and to obtain a list of companies that installed it. The Inspire line is a composite roof material made to look like slate but is a lot lighter than real slate.

The rep gave me the names of two companies in the Atlanta area that had experience with the product and had a good reputation for quality installations. KTM was one of the companies he recommended.

When the KTM rep showed up he was extremely familiar with the Inspire shingle and said his crews were qualified to put the roof down. We ended up agreeing on the composite shingle, ridge vents, an ice & rain underlay, three new (replacement) Velux skylights and a standing seam metal roof on one portion of our garage that has a low sloped roof.
I was pleased with the price, workmanship and the crew. The crew chief, Edwin, was an indispensable part of the team. He kept me advised of the work being done during each phase.
I was impressed with the work done last summer (2011) and have not had the first hint of a problem. I’m just sorry I didn’t find out that KTM also installed gutters and gutter covers until the KTM rep arrived and I had already had had that work done. I now have a 50-year roof with 50-year flashing.

I will not hesitate to recommend KTM to neighbors.

Hands down the best contractor I've ever dealt with. Very comprehensive demonstration and estimate given on the spot. They took their time with me through every step and even was present when the insurance estimator came to the house. Work was completed on a 3500 sq ft house in 1 1/2 days and in between rain showers. One word: AMAZING! And honestly, I do not ever go to the trouble of writing these but the general public must know. Great company, great sales reps, and the best workmen, I've seen/dealt with. KUDOS!

We are extremely pleased with our new roof. We gathered 5 quotes for roofs and picked KTM based largely upon the quality of their quote. Richard came out and gave us a smart, comprehensive quote including pictures of our roof (and roof issues) and samples/examples of all materials they would use. I came away from the quote better educated and used them as the gold standard for other quotes. Their price was competitive, so we went with them. On the day of, the roof was stripped, repaired and replaced by sunset, and these guys worked tirelessly in tremendous heat. All our neighbors were impressed. We recommend them highly.
